Is this something new having this Invite on a Wednesday night? I have gone to this for many years and it has always been on a Saturday. I am going off of our teams schedule and it reads that we are at Twin Lakes Invitational on Dec. 19th. @ 9:00 am. Sorry if I'm mistaken.

Cali....Gino wrestled on the Middle School Duals Team last year so he's still around. Mom & Dad weren't sure what High School he would be attending though.

Does anyone remember if Tsirtsis was ranked in the pre-season poll last year? I remember people having the same conversation last year, I was thinking that people were asking why he wasn't ranked and were told it was because he hadn't wrestled a High School match yet. Like I said I can't remember so maybe he was ranked (like Sliga). But I remember reading the same conversations last year. Just thought someone might remember. Thanks...

With the first practices just getting under way, someone has found away to give McMURRAY a little more motivation (as if he needs it) and a little extra fire that a Champion sometimes uses in his training. I'm sure all of the 160 pounders around the state are happy to read these threads. lol...Best of luck to all.

devildog, oh i think he is very realistic about his season and what to expect out of his freshmen year. He knows that many beatings lie ahead of him. If you had a 30 win freshmen season then I would consider that a heck of a year. I was just posting on the fact that he should be able to come in and help the team out, not that he will be a SSQ or a SQ. But come on he's Mike Atwood trained! (lol) Best of luck to all.

People were talking about this move way back in March at Nationals in Danville. I remember reading some of Caliwrestler's post from a couple of month's ago and said there was a big suprise coming at Perry so they might have known for a while also...Good luck to Cody wherever he may end up.

I know people were giving Caliwrestler a hard time about talking about his son a couple weeks ago but give credit where credit is due. Great job at Freestyle state. Maybe Hurford should of put Richards on his list of top freshmen @ 189. lol

I agree with you Brian, and for SamDad to say that...Way to encourage our Indiana wrestlers!!! Maybe if you leave a better wrestler on Sunday than you were on Friday when you got there, then the trip was worth it. Sometimes it's about getting better for the future. Andre, I hope you go and prove him wrong. -

Does anyone know what his degree from Iowa is in? I'm sure alot of schools in Indiana are hoping it is in Education.
