I think Atwood may need one or two more pins to reach 40 which was one of his preseason goals. He says he wants to pin is way through State this weekend. I think it may just happen too!...Good Luck Braden and "T".

Wow, Matt Hurford is the real deal! I would of love to watch the two Freshmen wrestle each other next weekend. Was Hurford ever ranked during the season?

Seen them both wrestle this year and I don't think it would have mattered this year. It is total domination @ 189 this year by Atwood. The Purdue boys have him at another level.

Is this the first time he has had a problem with his knees? I just remember he had an injury his freshmen year also and I'm hoping that's not the case. If so, do college coach's shy away from kids with knee problems? (and yes, I know he is a junior). I'm not saying that's what was wrong with him but was just wondering???

I like Lynde @ 152. This kid never seems to wrestle out of position,very smooth and fun to watch. Delphi could have 3 or 4 Champions on Saturday if they show up ready to wrestle. Good Luck Guys.

I heard yesterday that Dale wasn't going to wrestle today. Not sure about the details but I was told it was something like a cut that was badly infected??? not sure though.

Lower level seating is nice at Conseco, but a seat in the old "Market Square Gardens" is still hard to beat!!! -

Can someone tell me where I can find the rules on making weight before sectionals? I had a coach tell a kid that he could not challenge his weight class this week because he didn't weigh in last Saturday. Does anyone know if this is correct? Thanks for any help. I just want to read up on the rules.

There is a guy on ebay right now that has rare vintage shoes...made in Germany Combat Speed, Adidas Sydney 2000 and others. Wants an arm and a leg for them but you might have luck there. I can't remember his website but it might be gearing up grapplers.com. Try that.

Pretty sure Atwood got back points at the end of the match making it 12-4....Atwood has a duck under that I haven't seen since Blake Maurer. He's my pick to win it all for sure. That being said, I think Buckingham is definitely better than some of the kids ranked ahead of him and should be ranked higher than 11th. Hustle beat Muscle in this one.

I watched Atwood wrestle last week and he looks like he has added alot of muscle to go with all that wrestling ability. I would guess that all the time in the room this past year with Chris Fleeger @ Purdue is starting to show and will payoff in Feb.
