Hoosier Crossroads. Probably not close.
Several talented teams that are spread out in different semi-states. Can’t go wrong with that pick.

Maybe bring back them floyd county schools
True, although they may need to shift a couple decent teams to replace them at their current Sectional.
Odds are several of the Sectionals in that area need to be shifted around to more accurately keep each competitive and within a useful distance. For the short term though you could move couple decent Bloomington or Jennings Sectional teams (currently largest in the state) that are logistically close to Southridge Sectional boarders to keep the competitive balance if Floyd and New Albany were moved back.

Does Crull’s record also include her female matches?
If not that’s a pretty high number of matches she’s already at on just the boys side. Then if add in her girls results to the number she’s gotta be past 50 already.

Angel and company definitely seems to have a little better intermission pep talk ability than we used to see at the end of the Goldman era. Hoosiers have seemed to muster up a little grit to keep fighting the last few years even when they have been behind early.

Even hosting a major pro basketball game in a historic round ball state like Indiana they somehow sneak in an Indy500 Car. I’m perplexed. Figured something like the old barn basketball hoop for the background would have be more fitting for the occasion.

Likely their thought is since this isn’t something big like basketball or football we can just get around to it when we get back in the office on Monday.

I’m telling you look at the girls semi state put it back in a formula form and there you go.
Does the IHSAA have anything to do with organizing the girls state event? I figured that was all the IHSGW groups organizing, including creating the bracket formula.

Whatever name that Kevin Whitehead put a little more emphasis on during state.

It would be a nice send off to Escabedo’s rebuilding class to graduate knowing they climbed IU out of the basement. And hopefully a great motivator to this second wave (true freshman and HS commits) to keep the Hoosiers moving up.

Jennings County-Jeffersonville.
Wow
There was a bit of a gap before, but this years realignments really tipped the scale all the way over.

.1 and didn’t run it off…………….
Per the rules once weigh-ins have started wrestlers are not allowed to do anything extra that would look like losing weight. So it’s just standing in line and hoping you at least can make it on your one challenge scale attempt. Like most other I would assume he would have done what he could in the short time in the gym prior to weigh-ins starting but the hope didn’t get him there this time.

Was 175 the only weight that didn’t get atleast 3 out?
It would look that way.

Can I still take the over?!?!?
Some future realignment maybe needed here.

If we see Lemley/Mendez at Big 10s or NCAAs, it's going to be a war.
All in for this. Both have risen to a top level quick. Just a matter of who can make the right adjustments in Big10 and NCAA to ensure they can make a big run.

Looks like Jeffersonville Regional will be streamed through Jeffersonville’s school broadcasting crew.

I’m guessing it may end up being a little Jeffersonville athlete focused until the finals, but if the wrestler you are watching faces one of them that still a bonus for anyone unable to make the trip today.

I live by WeBo and my brother lives next to Tri-West it is 9 minutes to his house. Lebanon is 8 minutes from my house. Zionsville is 15 minutes away. Lebanon and Tri-West should be in the Crawfordsville sectional based on location IN MY OPINION.
On thing to always consider when determine most, not all locations, is actually the central geographic point of the sectional and then of the regional. Most people want to determine where they “should go” based on the host site. However, the actual school site is up to the IHSAA based on who even applies. So it’s a better determination of where school would go, again in most cases, is to find a somewhat centralized geographic point. Obviously schools on the boarder of those zones would be close to either district and possibly closer to the others host site. Not to mention some roads are more direct or quicker than others when looking at what site would be more easily accesssble competes to which one is actually within your central geographic point.
I didn’t look to see if that’s the case here, just pointing out a variable most people do overlook.
And on a related note I do agree there needs to be a little location wiggle room to help disperse the number of teams and the number of athletes these teams bring on average a little more evenly.

As with some of the prior years we will see just how much work they put into using all the possible formula options and making them actually “random.”
Hate to think some coaches would game the system and suggest a wrestlers take a certain finish. But when state is on the line, most of the other regional seems pretty clear minus a major upset, and the formula becomes predictable I’m sure the thought of having that conversation is there. Still a gamble that maybe too high odds play but again states on the line if the bet lines up. The draw of Semi-State and State are brutal enough as it is.
Just hope the IHSAA had the time and forethought to actually use the random generator and all of their possible formula options.

If I recall correctly a couple Iowa squads have the highest recent era NCAA championship scores. Not sure if that would make them the best ever overall talents wise, but it say those teams would be in contention with this years PSU team biggest talent gap vs. rest of that seasons field.

Any word if the IHSAA change away from a cable broadcast platform will allow Flo to stream live and record this years Championship match? Or will we still need to pay through the IHSAA to view the Championship live and/or via recording?
