We may only have 1 or 2 undefeated kids at the end of the night. There are 4 total still with unblemished records but on paper most look to be the underdog.
I’m assuming that could be an all time low record, but also shows more top kids are getting battle tested as the season progresses.

I’m guessing they will feed the finals through the main broadcast team like usual and hopefully that switch over fixes the audio issue.

Sounds has been going in and out all day on that mat. It was Mat 2 until they rearranged the setup for the final round to make it the spotlight mat thus Mat 1.

Did you refresh the entire IHSAA TV page? They added new links to the broadcast.

Back to firing on all cylinders again.
-
And Mat 3 looks to be a go.
-
Mat 2 is now a go.
-
Mat 1 is back up as a single view.
-
Looks like all they got wired up at the moment is a split screen and Mat 1. Going to assume the rest are in the works.
-
Stream links are starting to work again if you refresh the IHSAA main page and go from there.

Clearly the IHSAA just want us to feel the same experience that the TicketGate people did.

They are almost to 126. Still no live stream.
-
They had it running smooth over two different sessions. Why they gotta go and screw something up now?

They found that darn Shaved Ice truck and now there is no one in the arena to run the event.

Should consolation matches at state have 1 minute first periods? Always thought it was weird that the guys wrestling for 3rd place in the state only have a 5 minute match.
I agree, especially at the state tournament level that 2-2-2 for consolations should be implemented. One added minute is a lot to work with work for many of these razor thin matches.
At one point the rule book used to give the choice of using 2-2-2 or 1-2-2 for consols. But almost all of the time the event organizers went with 1-2-2, likely because it slightly sped things up. I’m assuming that this trend caused them to adjust the rule book awhile back because last I read it now say all consolations are to be 1-2-2.

Watching IhsaaTv from home . The Announcers for all 4 mats are perhaps the best I've ever encountered watching a large Tournament. They are all past wrestlers and very knowledgeable .
I’d agree. From what I’ve listen to most announcers have came in well organized with information to help add to what we see on the mat. I’ve always liked having some additional knowledge added in rather than a second by second of play by play that already see from the watching the steam. And far less speaker blowing yelling wildly when a big move happens than we have had in prior events. Very much appreciate that these guys are figuring out how to express the matches excitement in a more ear pleasing and professional broadcasting manner.

Surprised at how poorly attended the tournament is. It seems half empty.
Some may still be trying to sort out where their tickets are. Joking. Well really half joking.

A 12sec pin for 3rd place at 190. Don’t see to many of those as state. Noah Terry just went after it.
