  1. Thank you very much Chambers Do you know if this is the final only? Is it all the duals? Is there commentary? Any info would be great
  2. I caught that as well Man, that was frustrating
  3. Niether Rensselaer or Michigan City is part of the region The Indiana Braggin' Rights team is picked from the NWI times circulation zone, which includes Rensselar, but not Michigan City. Apparently the Times circulation zone extends south of the region. The Region=Lake and Porter county
  4. Garret Payne is from Michigan City, which is not part of the region/NWI times zone How is Michigan City not part of the region? there are residents insides the city limits who gets the times I'm almost positive that Michigan City is not in the NWI times circulation zone, I could be wrong. But they are not part of the "region".........that I'm sure of. If M.C was in the Times circulation zone, I'm sure Brent Surface, and Durrel Kelly would have been on the team in 03', Troy Bush, and Ben Sontag (C.P) represented team team Indiana at 215, and 275.
  5. CP would have to do some bumping to pull this one out. They match up really bad to Griffith head to head, but If they moved some people around they would pull it out, Griffith had some weak spots that they could exploit.
  6. Wow!!!! That was a blast from the past, I remember he used to hit that move on anybody. The team regional at C.P that year remains to be one of the most exciting duals I've ever seen, packed house, and alot of energy. If I'm not mistaken a freshman Ryan Storey upset Mike Chandler at 112, to this day I have not felt that much energy in a gym during a dual meet, there had to be 1,500+ in the old C.P gym. That Hobart team was stacked, Although I think they lacked the huge firepower that 09' CP team has, they certainley have more depth. My opinion is probably biased, but my vote goes to 09' C.P, not only because they were the only team to bring home the hardware, but I truly believe they were better. 04' Portage is a close second.
  7. Lost to Anthony Napules at the team regional Got reversed in the final seconds to lose 2-1
  8. Wow!!! What a year, yesterday was the culmination of alot of hard work, by alot of people. I could not be more happy for the entire C.P wrestling family and especially Scott Vlink, nobody deserved this more. P.S Clive please change your profile pic.......its creeping me out. lol
  9. I think CP has to be considered for the top 5 They have 5 near locks, 2 other SQ's, a couple other very solid wrestlers, and the rest seem to have really learned the art of not giving up bonus points. Not saying they are the best, but they would keep it close with anybody if not win.
  10. There is nothing worse than a thief I had my warmup jacket stolen in the conseco locker room Had to go to the podium in a t-shirt I borrowed from a fan
  11. Garret Payne is from Michigan City, which is not part of the region/NWI times zone
  12. I am reasonably sure Perry and Castle are heartbroken that you are not impressed with their performances and feel the need to state the obvious that any of the 4 teams in their bracket can make the finals. Here is a news flash for you, Any of the 4 teams in the top of the bracket can make it also. Like it or not, these are the 8 best teams in the state this year (according to the system we have in place). Let the kids decide this on the mat... What a strange reaction to a perfectly reasonable observation
  13. If Shrews can develop more offense from his feet, specifically leg attacks, I think he should do great. I think in general the upper weights lack the depth that the lower and middle weights do, which should help him as well.
