Congrats to Warren Central's own Michael Johnson-Jones on winning the NJCAA national championship at 197 pounds. You deserving everything Mike and I couldn't be more proud. And congrats to Gabe Berry for his All-American performance. WARRIORNATION

First off I want to say congrats to all State Champs. I would really like to congratulate all coaches and team supporters (I know how much work you people do behind the scenes). With that being said, let me say WOW!!! MIKE JONES. I have never been more proud to be associated with Warren Central then I was Saturday night. This could not have happened to a better young man. I was not able to coach this year due to a personal conflict, but I feel that I was right there with Mike when he was wrestling. When I first meet Mike, he was very VERY raw. After working with him for 2+ years, and then throw in Coach Williams knowledge and teachings and now stands probably one of the best(if not the best) 189 pounders in Warren's history. With my fiancé next to me cheering and crying in celebration, I sat there as proud as I have ever been in a long time. After the match I told him I was proud of him and enjoy it. He looked at me with the biggest smile and told me thanks for everything coach. I hope that we get more student-athletes (not just wrestlers) in the state of Indiana like Mike. Congrats again to everyone and good luck in the future.

Even though I will be tired after the big WC victory on Friday!!! I will make the early trip up to support the Warriors. This should be a great year for wrestling, and I am excited about it. Hope everyone comes out injury free and has a great time this weekend.

James Travis really impressed me on the field last friday. I think he has a real good chance of playing D1-aa or maybe even D1 ( on the deffensive side of the ball). Good luck to you in the future.

We at Warren Central have wrestled a total of 54 wrestlers who quailified for state. Not counting teams wrestled more than once I would like to see someone with more. ;D On another note Michael Johnson-Jones has wrestled 5 guys who made it to state. Anyone else have individuals who have wrestled this kind of tough competition.

I was looking at the brackets and I noticed that none of our kid?s records have changed from their regional records. I then went to the IHSAA website and it had the same records for them as well. It is not that big of a deal, but I just wanted to keep their records intact. Did anyone else notice this problem?
