  1. I'll be there for some I hope, I have to get oil changed in our cars and my wife wants the Christmas trees put up, so hopefully by noon.
  2. Slight may be understating it. Unhealthy may be more accurate. But the Dude abides.
  3. Freshman 157-pounder Grant Anglemyer cracks the DIII national rankings as an Honorable Mention! Brady still at #5. Graber still an Honorable Mention. Manchester is on the move! http://www.d3wrestle.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Ranking_3_20111128.pdf
  4. I would like to point out that facts typically have citations. Someone can say it's a fact I'm buying BMWs for prospective students, but that doesn't make it a fact. In fact, I would buy a BMW for me (if I could afford it) before I would buy it for anyone else, wife included.
  5. The problem is that they are enforced at whim, there's no consistency or logic to them. They need to either enforce the rules uniformly or not at all now that the DOE allows students to go anywhere.
  6. For me it was injury, but I know a lot of people who just get burnt out going year round from elementary school on.
  7. What are some of this year's best opening matches and where are they?
  8. That would make sense. If I remember it was a bit of a surprise loss. Otherwise they look pretty good for not having seen anybody on the mat this year.
  9. Ntende seems ranked a little low, is that definitely the weight he will be at?
  10. Manchester wrestlers not listed: Travis Yoakum - Delphi Josh Mitchell - Heritage Justin Zienta - Fremont Mike Achenbach - Anderson Drew Miller - Rossville Ryan Gossett - Ben Davis
  11. Congrats coach! I believe Karson Corn did this a few years ago, but someone from Daleville would have to verify that.
  12. 8-11 FINALISTS? That's ridiculous. Do you mean qualifiers?
  13. That's a lightweight bunch, but not surprising either.
  14. I'll always remember Jose Avilla-Paradise. Or Axel Dinch.
  15. Jamie Salazar at Manchester 2001-2003.
  16. I always assumed it was MISS ICK. Thanks for the pronunciation guide, NWI always could use those to help the rest of us out.
  17. I would say Fargo, Super 32, and the Ironman historically, Flo could prove over time to be outstanding. Maybe the Indianamat tournament someday too?
  18. Merrillville does have even more qualifiers returning than I realized. I knew there were a lot of young guys, but that's more than I would have guessed. They also work to find great competition during the year and have fantastic summer programs in place. It seems like they'll bounce back from have a down (for them) year last year.
  19. I would say New Castle has an edge this year over Merrillville. The region was a little young and down last year, but this should be a more impressive year. I also think Fort Wayne will continue to improve and might become more of a contender.
  20. Or they could go to a Division III school to focus on academics and do both sports. Ideally they'll go to college to get a good education and have more opportunities rather than solely for sports.
  21. I personally would rather see kids going where they believe they can get the best education, that will get them a lot further in life than doing well in college wrestling. I know, how silly of me.
  22. They have varsity and JV now? They've always had divisions based on size in the past.
