Indiana resident Champagne wins Illinois 2A title

Trey Lane a 2x IN Middle School State Champ, is a Freshman 106 at Brandon High School (FL). He is currently 61-2 and won his 2A District 7 this past weekend ranked #2 in 2A.... Our state tournament isnt till March 4-5th -

You guys didn't win Middle School State. And I would say it hasn't been done before because team state is a new format and elementary dual state hadn't been around that long

Rioux was a 8th grader last year Would be nice for them to use this format. But they are really sold on using trackwrestling profiles that can be padded by tons of small local tournaments or you can delete the tournaments you do bad at.

Can't really consider these transfers students for Brownsburg. They never attended any other High School before going to Brownsburg HS. Ty Mills was a Danville MS kid, Nathan Walton was a Tri-West MS kid and I believe Brayton Lee was in a private school for MS. But Lee and Walton were always a Brownsburg club kids forever. And all 3 are Hendricks Cty kids. Which this seems to be very common in Hendricks Cty. Kids attend different middle schools then go to a different High Schools. I will not name names but I do know..... Not just for wrestling but other sports too Cascade MS to Danville, Plainfield HS Danville MS to Brownsburg HS and Avon HS Avon MS to Danville HS TriWest MS to Danville, Brownsburg, Avon HS Plainfield MS to Avon, Cascade HS

Pretty good, and that gives them (I think) 6 of the 10 returning next year. And Avon has only 1-2 seniors they lose, with some ranked wrestlers (and get Brewer back next year)...So the Avon and BBurg will have some more great close/battles duals in the next couple years

I think Mulkeys first match of the season was Dec 10th the BBurg vs Avon dual.

What about the cattle barn at the fairgrounds...iswa used it for freestyle state years ago. It has the mat space and overall space, but downside is has no seat bleachers
