  1. Last nite @ 215 #2 Bultemeier beat #3 Mills 13-0
  2. Meyer was sick that day. He also trys to wear down the big boys and get em late. He weighs 215!
  3. This is so neat to wake up in the morning drive 5 minutes and see some of the best wrestling in the state. Thanks B.J.
  4. I would like to see the enrollment of these schools EMD is the smallest then probably Bellmont. Makes a difference without being in classes, the amount of kids you have to chose from.As for the Cathedral thing we had some great matches with them @ state (Gunsett -McGinley) comes to mind. Back in the late 70's early 80's Don Pattons Delta teams were darn good! Sorry for getting of the subject. Nice job Maligned nice discussion starter.
  5. Sounds like( if I can't get my way) Typical politics.
  6. As of this writing house bill 1733 basically eliminating the IHSAA was pulled by its author. If it is not voted on by midnight it is dead. As reported to me by Rep Matt Lehman !
  7. Billy Baker the best overall athlete in Indiana
  8. I think the head FB coach @ Bellmont might differ with Joe, seeing how he has rings in both sports.
  9. Bellmont lost to PM earlier this year @ Bellmont by 15 (not sure but was close to that) they will have 3 kids back in the lineup that did not wrestle that day. Also the 189 Thatcher was just up from JV, he is now a state qualifier. I expect a dogfight between yhe 2 teams.
  10. Everytime someone over looks Bellmont, it comes back to bite them. Just ask Yorktown, Merriville and PM. ;D
  11. WZBD 92.7 will do adams county wrestlers matches. also the finals. If you can stand Rex Brewer tell you about himself, half the time.
  12. Bellmont's 4 advancing wrestlers were all fball players. Some of the others that didn't were not. Just asking. Coach Faurote always pushes kids to play all sports. Not a slam at anyone just a ??.
  13. this guy is trippin. Billy Baker will be your 215 state champ, barring injury
  14. I think someone is still sucking sour grapes from Wed. night. I think the overall total for Ytown vs Bellmont is 16-0. Keep trying every dog has his day!
  15. 1 Thing I'm pretty sure will happen, Billy Baker to Heavy and Meyer to 215, try to win 2, since Meyer is less then 200
  16. He was probably the only wrestler in the state that DIDN'T want the 2lb allowance! Hankenson will not be at 140. Guaranteed!!
  17. yes and either Bellmont or Yorktown stays home. both desreve to be their ahead of Peru
  18. My observations as a Bellmont fan. My match of the day was 195lb soph heavyweight Daniel Meyer over 284 pound undefeated Borowski from EM(the ref overreacted to the kid saying that's BS). Also after Gerber lost it, sales of red gatorade went way down at the concesson stand! Thought Bellmont wrestled better at the end of the day than the beginning. Also having 2 JV (although they are borderline varsity) kids wrestling Thatcher @189 and Mahlan 160 although he weighed in @152. Also very impressed with frosh B Faurote, just like his old man, a hard working no nonsense kid with great things in his future. To bad the weather didn't co-op. Hope everyone had a safe trip home. P.S. went back for BB game, feel like part of the bleachers are attached to my ass, (can I say ass)?
  19. Ahhh Welcome Memorial I think we played you in another sport not too long ago! ;D
