    My nephew caught Howe at freestyle state in 08. Got in on a single on one side of the mat and couldn't finish by the time they got to the other side. Back to the center and Howe took him down and gator rolled him across the fair grounds to the parking lot. In all, about 15 seconds of wrestling. But we always joked about how he almost took Andrew down.

    Bellmont 45-30. Good match. The announcers were great. I think they both work a table at state for track as well.

    I remember Harvey and Todd wrestling for first place back at Middle School or Folkstyle State at New Castle. That match went on for a half hour. Harvey was a bleeder.

    I believe it was 08/09 that Eppert bumped up to wrestle Quiroga at Lawrence North. People came from all over Indy to see that one. Seems like yesterday.

    Was going through the TV and programing all the Yellowstone seasons and stumbled across this movie The Last Champion. It is on Paramount (#1145 on AT&T Uverse) Thursday night at 11:50pm. Streaming on VUDU for free as well. Never seen it but it has Cole Houser (Rip in Yellowstone) in it and the preview looks pretty good. Enjoy and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

    Robbie Gentry finished 6th (285) at state back in 2020. Now at 184, wow! Great job young man.

    Not sure what weight he will be at (145 last year) but Rider Searcy from East Central should be in the running whatever weight he is at. On a side note, Luke Hansen (Roncalli) leading the state in rushing with 2117 yards so far. He must be a load to tackle.

    I know that it's NAIA but I stumbled across Dylan Reel on Ottawa University's roster this year. He is listed as a junior and he was listed as a freshman on Minnesota's roster back in 2012-13. MMA bio list him as being born 12-10-93 which makes him 28. I remember Tyler Willis wrestling him at middle school nationals in Danville, Illinois

    It sure didn't hurt Center Grove picking up a great coach. Swain did a bang up job out in the sticks of Montgomery County for several years.

    Didn't make it out of sectionals his first year, got pinned by Muncie in the ticket round at semi-state last year to State Champ this year. That is a great progression. Great job.

    Kid just started wrestling a couple years ago and now a State Champ. Great story and congratulations young man.
