Here I'll highlight them for you.
Hope that helps.
OK, there were two who do not have him making it out. I refuse to go through and copy and paste.

Ditto, but ideally not in a round where you could go home for the year. Get the toughest kid when everything is on the line.
to be the best you have to beat the best.

I see zero people in this thread that don't have him in their top 4.
you are not looking.

I've never really understood that philosophy; why would you lose so you can face a kid who just won his last match? If the matchings are all 1-4, 2-3, it would seem to me you want to win what's in front of you so you get to face a kid who's just coming off a loss. But what do I know?
just a thought. I always wanted my kid to face the toughest kid.

Biven from Pike might make a nice run. He is a tough kid, and never gives up.
Of course, I am partisan observer. I hope he makes it through so i can see him next Friday at the parade of champions. He is one of my students

I am surprised at how many do not have Levell making it out at 132.

OK, why not post the matchups before wrestling starts, everyone knows what sectional, regional and SS they will face depending on the place they ear at the previous round. Yes this opens up the possibility of a coach telling a kid to lose a match should they know the results from another event, but I think most are worried about what is in front of them to worry about this, and I would be curious to know the time difference from one tournament finishing that much ahead of the other tournament to make a difference.

I need that in front of my house! I'm sure the wife would approve.

So, has someone who placed 5th at sectionals and actually got to wrestle the next weekend as the alternate ever made it to state?

I understand the need for seeding meetings, so that the best wrestlers have a shot at making it into the finals. As a father I never cared where my son was seeded, put him anywhere and I will send him out there to beat the other kid. If someone decided that their wrestler should be seeded higher, I would argue to get a seed that drew into them early enough to screw up the seeds.

Marion county tourney is this weekend. I believe at LN, always good matchups to be seen here.
Madison county tourney is this weekend at Anderson. Lots of quality wrestlers to be on hand should be a good day of wrestling. Pendleton, is always strong, AHS usually has some quality guys, Alexandria, Frankton and Elwood usually have a few kids that can cause some harm, not sure about Lapel.

It has been a looooong time since my son wrestled middle school matches. When did they start qualifying for this event. It used to be if you thought you were good, you showed up and saw what you were made of.

So glad the surgery went well, Char Jr. is a great kid, I hope his recovery goes just as well.

congrats. Great wrestling program.

Dang, I was all set to volunteer for the heavy weight.

I wonder who they will get to run the system for them.

I would love to see this at the Warren field house. They do not offer the number of seats, I am not sure that many places do, but they can fit 14 mats on the floor, with some temp bleachers. Still not enough seating, but it would allow all the mats to be in one area. Or they could place the 4A in the main gym and keep the other classes in the fieldhouse.

My son knew that he had it great at Warren Central. I am not sure of the number since he graduated long enough ago that I am now very old. But they have a full wresting room with 3+ mats, its own temperature control, a locker room and an office. It was when he started to visit colleges that he saw how great it was in High school. I hope all of you get the rooms you need and deserve.
