  6. Sage is fun to watch and very talented. He has only lost 4 matches to this point in High School, he lost his 2nd match of this season wrestling up, twice by 2 injury default last season, and once as a freshman. He is a naturally gifted young man who has and is putting in the work to be a beast. The flip for two was more like a summersault over his opponent but whatever you would like to call it he is explosive gives the fans in the stands something to watch and be entertained by all while simply doing something he loves.....Good Luck to him, Jacob Gray, and Scottie Evans this weekend at state they are key pieces in the rebuilding of a program with a rich wrestling history.
  7. Its all in good fun...no feelings hurt all the young men listed have put in the work as have all the others....there will be some outstanding wrestling this saturday all over the state.
  8. I try not to post much on here during season but after reading some of the post from Barry JR, I believe some enlighting maybe needed. At 132 u must not be in the know on Mr. Coy he is the real deal an while Mr. Stephenson is a great young man an solid wrestler Coy is on a different level match shouldnt be close. At 160 while Liter is a stud in his own right one of Gray's 33 season victories came over Liter by pin fall in the second period not decision. At 195 Howard is the favorite but his 3-2 squeaker over Evans in the sectional finals doesnt lead me to believe he will be steam rolling the field my any means. Oh an as I stated Coy was on another level at 132, so is McCormick at 145 most likely to not just win but by dominate fashion over each of his opponents no close matches for him. But with all that being said the great thing about this sport is its not final until the match is over and the winner has his hand raised. Best of luck to all the Regional qualifiers, may u stay healthy and wrestle at your best...

  13. Rankings guy is doing a great job. Just a little additional information, @ 285 Hayes from Greensburg was pinned by Ryan George a Junior from Delta, George also pinned Walls from New Castle in 22 seconds. George is 15-1 his only loss was a 2-0 dec to a Triton Heavy whom he pinned a week earlier. All so Sage Coy will be at 132 he majored Will Batcher 15-7 earlier and he wrestled up when he loss to Noon, Jacob Gray beat Luke Elliot 8-7 wrestling up @170. Thanks
