  1. Esc Duvall and stall warning on Hemmel, but time is running out. Nice win for Hemmelgarn 6-1
  2. Mat 1 Hemmelgarn with a TD late in the 2nd, now starting to open up a little on Duvall. Leads 5-0. Duvall down to start the 3rd, Hemmel riding pretty hard. Trying to burn some time...less than a minute left, Hemmel still chopping meat on top
  3. Mat 1 Hemmelgarn leads 2-0 to start the 2nd period. Hemmel down, Duvall forces him out of bounds. Restart. Hemmel to his feet, again Duvall forces him out, Hemmel very nearly free and clear. Restart. Hemmelgarn to his feet, breaks free for the escape, leads 3-0. Mat 2 done til semis

Mat 1 Esc Joest, appears to be avoiding Faulkenberg, both dinged for stalling, but Faulkenberg follows the penalty point with a big throw to Joest's back, gets the FALL....nice comeback win for Faulkenberg. Hemmelgarn and Duvall scoreless thru 1 minute Mat 2 Gelen wastes no time in dispatching Guerra by fall Oglesby with a TD a minute in...2-0 lead, Beeson working for the escape, gets it, but tries to throw the Ben Davis big man, and, instead gets tossed himself, winner by fall Oglesby
  5. Sorry, Chambers won 6-4. Morales came very close, got stalled out on a TD attempt near the end of the match with a wizzer that wasn't going anywhere. Had a legit shot at pulling that one off, but nice win for Chambers
  6. Mat 1 Faulkenberg trails Joest 4-3 late in the first period. First TD to Joest, reversal for Faulk, reversal for Joest and esc Faulkenberg...4-3 to start the 2nd. The Ritter senior better pick it up in the 2nd if he wants to get by the East Noble senior. Esc. Joest, leads 5-3, Faulkenberg with a nice double on the edge of the mat to tie it at 5-5....45 secs left....Esc. Joest, 6-5 Mat 2 Esc. Woods in 2nd period...neutral for the whole period until 2 seconds left, when Wags picks Woods up and returns him for a takedown. Nice timing and mat awareness for Wags, leads 4-2 to start the 3rd. Wagner esc and a TD, starting to pull away 7-2 now. minute left

  8. sorry, got pulled away...quick updates Mat 1 Partee held off Dole 9-6 Stevenson appeared to be pinned, twice, although briefly, but hung on to beat Wilson 13-10 Howard-Anderson pinned Fischer quickly and in another big upset, Scott pinned #1 Johnson to advance to the semis Mat 2 Corsaro held off a very game Jolas to win 10-5 Bates won a seesaw battle with Kempf 6-5, fighting off a TD to the very last second. a beautiful sprawl by Bates sends him to the semis Chambers up 6-4 on Morales with 20 secs left...chambers might be a little tired, but holds on to win a close one 6-4 over a very game Morales
  9. Mat 1 Partee with a TD to end the first period...2-0 Mat 2 Schurg wins ultimate tiebreaker, riding out Carroll to win 6-5
  10. Mat 1 Bauer holds on and makes it to the semis by a 3-2 count over Armstrong. Impressive run so far by Bauer Mat 2 Looked like Carroll had a TD in first OT. Now theyre in double OT. Esc Schurg, leads 5-4...now its Carrolls turn...Yorktown's senior up and out quickly...15 secs left...no more scoring....5-5, triple OT
  11. Mat 1 Bauer w an escape to start the 3rd, leads 3-2, munute and a half to go Mat 2 Schurg gets a big TD on a nasty scramble won by the CP junior. 4-3 Schurg leads, esc Carroll...4-4 OT. great match
  12. Mat 1 2-2 in 2nd period between Bauer and Armstrong. The seniors appear to be evenly matched, fighting in neutral with 45 secs left Mat 2 Carroll in control of Schurg thus far. Leads 3-1 in the 3rd, riding Schurg. esc Schurg with 1:20 left....3-2
  13. Mat 1 Covaciu follows thru and gets a convincing win over Lykins. pretty sure most peoples' 138 brackets are toast at this point Forte controlled Batts throughout in a 8-0 win. Mat 2 Abram in control from beginning to end, wins 6-0 Loe very impressive in a near-tech fall of Lile, wins 14-1
  14. Mat 1 Covaciu and Lykins scoreless for nearly the entire period, Covaciu gets a nice lift and TD near the end of the period to lead 2-0 heading into the 2nd. Lykins down to start, quick esc 2-1 Cova leads Mat 2 Abram rides out Lawrence the rest of the 2nd. Lawrence on top in the 3rd, looking for a tilt....coming close, but not quite able to get it. 4-0 still
  15. Mat 1 James has been as dominant as anyone, gets the fall in the 3rd with a near-side cradle. Was on his way to a tech Mat 2 Reversal for Abram to start the 2nd, leads 4-0
  16. Mat 1 James dominating Campbell 7-0, still riding physically. Rides him out. 3rd period, they're neutral, still 7-0 James Mat 2 Scoreless til right before the whistle, as Abram sneaks in a TD by the edge of the mat, to lead 2-0 to start the 2nd.
  17. Mat 1 James up quickly on Campbell, leads 2-0, gets a tilt, leads 5-0. rides Campbell out the rest of the period.....5-0 to start the 2nd Mat 2 Davis dominates Carithers 6-0. Lawrence and Abram up now. No score thru 30 secs
  18. Mat 1 The answer is....no he can't. Chastain gives up a literal last-second TD to lose a match he appeared to have in hand 5-4. Great comeback for Davis, but that one will hurt for Chastain Mat 2 Davis down to start the 3rd, reverses Carithers, in control by all appearances, 6-0. less than a minute left
  19. Mat 1 Chastain impressively rides Davis out the rest of the period. 2-2 Chastain holding his own. Impressive reversal by Chastain on the whistle to start the 3rd. Leads the returning state runner-up 4-2...esc Davis with less than a minute left....4-3 Chastain, 48 secs left...can he hold on? Mat 2 TD and period rideout for Davis. Leads Carithers 2-0 to start the 2nd. Davis down. Reversal Davis, 4-0
  20. Mat 1 Chastain down to start the 2nd, having a hard time getting out from under the leech Davis. No sooner then I type that, Chastain gets the reversal, begins riding Davis, tied 2-2, Chastain holding his own so far. Mat 2 Early really dominated that match, despite the modest 11-5 score. Very impressed by Mr. Early Carithers and Davis up now
  21. Mat 1 Davis and Chastain up. Davis aggressive, gets the TD, with 1:30 left in period. Davis grinds him out on top for the rest of the period. Mat 2 ANother Early TD, riding with 1:23 left in 3rd, leads 9-4, esc Johnson, now 9-5, another TD for Early, leads 11-5...
  22. Mat 1 Glogouski down to start the 3rd, out very quickly, leads 12-0. TD GLog, looking for the dominant Tech fall, gets it with a cheap tilt, wins 16-0. Mat 2 2 TDs for Early, two escapes for Johnson, 4-2 to start the 2nd. Johnson down, Early riding physically, looking tough, escape with 90 secs left in period. 4-3 Early leads. Another TD and esc sequence, 6-4 Early leads
  23. Mat 1 Glogouski all over the Blackout, midwy in the 2nd. Leads 8-0, putting on a nice display, now looking for backs...gets 'em, leads 11-0 to start the 3rd Mat 2 Gayfield dominates JOhnson, wins 7-2 Early with a quick TD of Johnson, appears to be a little stronger in the clinch....gets another leg, another TD, leads 4-1 with 30 secs to go
