  1. You can get the Moorseville results off trackwrestling
  2. It is showing Crown Point having a loss in theconfrence. Their loss to Portage the Traicoff doesn't count as a conference loss. Their dual for the conference is Jan. 10th at Portage..
  3. I agree 100%. It makes it so esy to find out the results from a specific tournament that you were interested in finding out how a future foe of one of your possible statebound wrestlers has been doing.
  4. I haven't noticed that the Schurg brothers weight classes have been changed either semi-state or state rankings. Daylan is at 145 and Darden is at 160. It was Daylan that bumped to 152 and lost to Portage at the Traicoff. I believe Darden is 8-0 with all ist period pins.
  5. AJ: Just a minor error on your post. You have Partee over Mammolenti at 152lbs. They are at 160lbs.
  6. Moss lost 5 to 4 last week. Those 5 points couldn't have been all escapes
  7. I might be jumping the gun, but Miller or Tolley might give Robinson a decent match, but I doubt it. He makes a good role model for a lot of kids.
  8. I also hope Carithers wins Friday and I think he has a chance to make it to the semi's
  9. I have to disagree with the post of saying 152 had no one but Macri. He did have to go to overtime to beat Schurg 8 to 6.
  10. I might be a little biased but if Kral comes to wrestle instead of pussyfootin around out there I think he has a chance, even though he ha Johnson in the 2nd round, presuming he wins the first round. He may have lost the last 3 weeks, but they were all close matches. I remember back in the 80's Dennis Watson from Merrillville was lucky to qualify for the regionals, semi-state and state, but ended up on the top step of the podium.
  11. I certainly appreciate Trackwrestling. I used to post the results from our tourneys and try to get scores from other tourneys but was unable to no matter how hard I tried. Now with trackwrestling , last night I posted all final and consolation scores to my Merrillville program, so I could have an idea on how tough the competition our semi-state qualifiers would be facing at Indy. THANK YOU TRACKWRESTLING.
  12. Some of my predictions are hopefuls: 106Cummings, Reitz, Hildebrandt, Hatch 113 Crary, Garza, Slates, Trent 120 Sinkovics, Torres, Schurg, Lukaszka 126 Micic, Johnson, Davis, Hunting 132 Donaldson, Gross, Carithers, Norwel 138 Hughes, Fuqua, Swank, Denton 145 Forte, Rentas, Schurg, Dan 152 Schurg, Reinhart, Macri, Armstrong 160 Hughes, Mammolenti, Dodson, Hogan 170 Osborn, Sopko, Young, Katsafaros 182 Eldridge, Schoonveld, Jankowski, Fowler 195 Woods, Scott, Kral Winkle 220 Robinson, Stohler, Potosky, Meyer 285 Streck, Duvall, Blackburn, Suttles
  13. I don't see Cathederal's 113 making it to the finals. He was beaten by CP's 113 and he has been pinned and teched a couple of times.
  14. I did hit save when I did them Thursday morning,. but they are not being shown
  15. I just posted the CP-Valpo results from last night. At the bottom it said SAVE, NOT POST. How are the results posted?
  16. Well if CP recruited they didn't do a very good job of it. They only won 1 state title and they wouldn't have won that if Mishawaka's 112lber hadn't been dismissed from the team. They would have beat Cathederal and would have beaten CP cause CP didn't match up with them at all. You must not have any common sense if you think that Carmel's coaching staff and feeder program is that much better than other areas that they don't recruit from all over the state. Their score at the state meets in swimming usually doubles the runner-ups score. And they have been doing that for 25 years.
  17. You have any proof that CP recruited. I'll bet you one thing. Coach Vlink had nothing to do with any recruiting. I didn't know they had any computers in the nuthouse.
  18. Vito: If you lived in Carmel and your kids went out for swimming they had better be close to Olympic class or they wouldn't make the team, cause the move-ins would keep them off. You have any proof that CP recruited any wrestlers? And if they did, which I highly doubt, they didn't continue it for 25 years.
  19. Sportsfangms: Crown Point didn't pay for families to relocate and for parents to get higher paying jobs. In my opinion (which normally doesn't mean much) "You get more bang for the buck in CP than the communities they moved from. One of my relatives became a National High School cross country coach while at Carmel, but I believe that was before the statewide recruiting began.
  20. I was wondering how Carmel could be so dominant in girls swimming. I found out that they recruit from all over the state from what they see in AAU swimming. Crown Point has a couple of girls that were approached by Carmel and thankfully they didn't accept their offer.

Yea, you left out Darden Schurg at 152. Also I don't know if you were picking them in order of finish, but I can't see Torres beating Garza or Williams beating Robinson
  22. Duneland Conference is at Portage Saturday.
  23. I was in error when I said the score was 3 to 1. Sorry. Bill Hawkins was setting right next to me and he thought the same thing. We must've been watching a JV match.
  24. I believe it was for fleeing the mat..But he had no control of his feet since Rentas picked him up by the seat of his pants and carried him off the mat.
  25. I would doubt that he gave up a stalling point. I will check our scorekeeper's book tomorrow.
