Is it a stated goal of the IHSWCA to eventually have the IHSAA take over the team state? Should it be?

I think its fair to say this years edition is the best 1A team in the four years of the team state duals. It was good to see an old timer like Lee Fry enjoy some fruits of the program that he got going 20+ years ago.

As far as the national ranking, I would say you should do research on the 40 teams and you could see some similarities. If you think state rankings are hard, try doing them nationally. This the quote that you think is snide? You started by asking why Warren is ranked so much higher than MD and were given a clear reason. The best part about the last one I went to at the Cave was that both teams had student sections with 3-400 kids who were almost as intense as the the wrestlers on the mat.
