  1. I was told 10am as well but I agree they don't look close to starting. They don't have mats assigned yet according to TrackWrestling Team Bout Schedule.
  2. I purchased the PPV so I could watch a handful of matches while traveling. I was scheduled to attend both days, but I had to give up the trip so I could go to Orlando/Jacksonville to watch Bama vs Michigan and IU vs Tennessee.....tough trade-off. Thank you in advance for any updates/details.
  3. Here are a few impressive resumes for 2-seeds that will be a challenge for the 1-seed if the match occurs: 126 -- Josh Koderhandt (15-0): Ranked 3rd in Illinois 3A. Ranked 11th in the Country according to USA Weekly. Placed 3rd in 2017, Placed 2nd in 2018, won the 2019 Hinsdale Central Tournament with all tech falls. 138 -- Aidan Bowers (18-5): Prep National All-American, Flo-National Greco All-American, Black Horse 2019 Champ 145 -- Garrett Bowers (22-1): 2x State Champ, 3x State placer, Flo-National All-American, Prep Nationals All-American, Pre-season Nationals All-American in Iowa. 2019 Kansas City Stampede Champ. Ranked #24th nationally by WIN magazine. A few other tidbits that relate to the competition: 120: Kody Glithero, ranked #8 in Indiana, is seeded 6th in his bracket. 126: Dayne Dalrymple, 2nd and 3rd place finisher in his state, is seeded 3rd in his bracket. Gavinn Alstott, undefeated and ranked #6 in Indiana, is seeded 4th. 138: Sean Pitts, 3rd place in his State, seeded 5th in his bracket. 152: Jonathan Kervin, ranked #2 in Indiana, is seeded 3rd in his bracket. Tyce Freije, 2x State Placer & ranked #6, is seeded 4th. 160: JaCorey Miller, state runner-up, seeded 3rd in his bracket. 195: John McGrew, ranked #8 in Indiana, is seeded 6th in his bracket. 220: Al Wooten, 2019 State Champ, seeded #2 in his bracket.
  4. Between 106 - 152, Roncalli and EMD will probably see each other a handful of times. Crazy amount of talent on both teams, where the majority of the wrestlers are ranked Top 10. Potential match-ups are: 106: Lowery (#8) vs Egli (ss#5) 113: Hudson (unr) vs Ross (#3) 120: Glithero (#8-113) vs Freeman (#9-126) 126: Lowery (#2) vs Hayhurst (unr) 132: Slivka (#11) vs Egli (#3) 138: Page (ss#8) vs Boarman (#1) 145: Viduya (#1) vs Bauman (#12) 152: Freije (#6) vs Fitts (#7) A few heavy favorites, a few slight favorites, a couple of toss-ups.
  5. You must only be counting # 1’s & 2’s from Indiana because EMD Classic had more than 5 when I looked. i don’t know enough (outside of internet research) regarding the out of state kids. I was able to find results where several of them own wins over our top wrestlers (freestyle). Al Smith is loaded, and from what I know it is deeper. With that said, ANY CHAMP from the Classic will be (1) an outstanding wrestler and (2) would have earned their title by defeating outstanding competitors.
  6. Just using numbers -- Crown Point scored 22 points at 138 which is good. Max point total for the weight was 30 points. Let's say Crown Point would have garnered the additional 8 points with their starter, which given Drake Campbell was in that weight it was highly unlikely he would have maxed out but for simplicity sake I will add 8 points to their team total..new point total for the team = 326.5 Brownsburg scored ZERO points at 170 where they had the top seed. The lowest amount they received at any weight class was 16.5 for a 4th place finish. They had 312.5, which would leave them needing only 14.5 points to take the title. I have said before it is shame most of Indiana will not see Crown Point as a full unit. I suspect they will be represented on Friday night with at least 8 wrestlers, probably more, and they are one of the favorites to take home the IHSAA State Title. As far as the Carnahan Memorial Invitational, Crown Point won the team event. If Brownsburg would have had their 170 it is safe to say they would have won the event by 8-10 points.
  7. Mr. Miller I am glad to see your son tearing it up. Given the schedule Brownsburg has lined up, he will get to test himself every week. As far as engaging in a discussion with Mr. Heavy, I think I will take a pass. He asked a question, on an open forum, and I answered it. I could care less if he appreciated my answer, just like I am sure he could care less about my answer. Que sera sera.
  8. If your question said, "Hey Caleb, can you tell me....." then I would not have answered. I thought you were seeking opinions from the many people on this board who understand the process.
  9. Yes, I wanted to include the top 10 for 3A since the teams have so many kids ranked in the State Top 20 (per weight).
  10. I have compiled an Excel report the last few years (at least) on the ranked wrestlers that make it to Friday night, it is incredible how accurate they are. I am one of those 'nerdy' guys that enjoy numbers so much I create reports all the time just for my own learning. I too peruse the trackwrestling website trying to find results that are not entered, as well as as few twitter feeds. I know it will help me one year at the Pick 'em challenge....this may be my year!
  11. Quite simply, you have 2 individuals volunteering a crapload of their ‘free time’ providing us rankings and thankfully they don’t agree 100% of the time.
  12. Seeds of Perry, Roncalli, & Warren with POTENTIAL matches. Best seed per weight: Warren 5, Perry 5, Roncalli 4. 106: 1-Roncalli, 2-Perry, 3-Warren (SF: Perry & Warren same side) 113: 1-Perry, 3-Warren, 8-Roncalli (QF: Perry & Roncalli H2H) 120: 1-Warren, 4-Perry, 5-Roncalli (QF: Perry & Roncalli H2H) 126: 1-Roncalli, 2-Warren, NS-Perry (1st rd: Perry vs #4 seed) 132: 1-Warren, 2-Roncalli, NS-Perry (1st rd: Perry vs #3 seed) 138: 3-Warren, 4-Roncalli, NS-Perry (1st rd: Perry vs #7 seed) 145: 1-Roncalli, 5-Perry, 6-Warren (QF: Perry vs #4 seed & Warren vs #3 seed) 152: 1-Roncalli, 2-Warren, 7-Perry (QF: Warren vs Perry) 160: 2-Perry, 3-Warren, NS-Roncalli (1st rd: Perry vs Roncalli) 170: 1-Warren, 2-Perry, NS-Roncalli (1st rd: Roncalli vs #5 seed) 182: 1-Perry, 7-Roncalli, NS-Warren (1st rd: Warren vs #2 seed, Winner vs Roncalli in QF) 195: 2-Perry, 7-Warren, NS-Roncalli (1st rd: Warren vs Roncalli, winner vs Perry in QF) 220: 6-Perry, 7-Warren, 8-Roncalli (QF: All wrestlers are underdogs) 285: 1-Warren, 3-Perry, 8-Roncalli (QF: Warren vs Roncalli)

  14. I know that occurs, but I don’t have any insider information so I used known data to make my predictions. I may change them on Friday once seeds / brackets are known
  15. Campbell has looked extremely impressive the times I have watched him (Ohio & Avon) - it is unfortunate most of us will not get a chance to see the CP wrestlers until Friday night of State. Just looking at results I know they have an incredible lineup, especially at the bottom. With that said I believe there are several teams that match up with them between 106-152.
  16. Brownsburg vs CP (rankings) 106: #3 vs #1 113: #12 vs #10 120: #16 vs #2 126: #3 vs #11 132: unranked vs #1 138: #3 vs #4 145: unranked vs #11 152: #11 vs unranked 160: #5 vs #9 170: #8 vs unranked 182: unranked vs unranked 195: #9 vs unranked 220: #10 vs unranked 285: #1 vs unranked I have Brownsburg winning 8 matches, losing 5 and I am unsure about 182.
  17. 2019 Team State Wrestlers (Rankings).xlsx I have attached a synopsis of each team wrestlers who are State Ranked. I will update with semi-state and re-post in the next few days.

  19. First time for me attending the event. I have casually followed the event just so I can be up to speed on some kids down south but not close enough to answer my own question, which is: Do they seed 1-8?
  20. The website depicts a start time (6:30 pm) for both Columbus East vs Franklin AND Avon vs Brownsburg. Is that when JV will begin with varsity to follow or the projected start time for the face-off? Both matches will be entertaining and should deliver some high quality bouts.
  21. One of the Roncalli dads mentioned to me that East Central would probably go undefeated on Saturday; I will admit I didn't know much about them outside of the wrestlers that have participated at the NCSS. Also they had plenty of excitement from the wrestlers when one of their teammates were wrestling; it was fun to see them act as teammates and not individuals. Brownsburg just kept putting wrestlers on the mat that were impressive. I have followed them intensely the last 4 years so I know what type of talent they have lost to graduation, but the current team is as formidable as any team in the Midwest. They have a very daunting schedule, so they will have plenty of opportunities to flex their muscles/abilities. Roncalli potentially could have 7 State qualifiers between 106 - 152, and if they can continue to develop their upper weights come the EMD Holiday Classic / Team State they could make life difficult for any team. On Saturday they didn't lose at 106, 113, 126, 132, 145, and 152 -- I expect that to be the norm for the majority of their matches. Good day for Indiana High School wrestling!!
  22. Earlier post listed all ranked kids. I don’t think anyone of them are powerhouses, not at least with the lineups they had on Saturday. Solid wrestlers though and the Indiana kids had to earn their wins; no question the 3 best teams belonged to Brownsburg, East Central, and Roncalli.
  23. From Yappi: Wrestlers that went undefeated on the day106 Miller (Brownsburg), Lowery (Roncalli)113 Haines (Brownsburg), Wolf (East Central), Glithero (Roncalli)120 Newkirk (Fairfield)126 Bainbridge (Brownsburg), Searcy (EC), Lowery (Roncalli)132 Reaves (Hewitt), Slivka and Willis (Roncalli)138 Campbell (Brownsburg)145 Cicciarelli (Brownsburg), Wolf (EC), Viduya (Roncalli)152 Hall (EC), Freije (Roncalli)160 Asbury (Brownsburg)170/182 McIntosh (Harrison)182 Beverley (Ashland), 182 Grogg (Lebanon)195 Reardon (Harrison), 195 Amburgy (Mason)220 Jones (Brownsburg), Young (Franklin Central)285 Keys (Brownsburg), Alexander (FC) Did Montgomery lose? If so, who beat him?
  24. I went to Team Schedules and didn't find that information....typically I am better. I got this information from Yappi: https://www.borofanohio.net/harrison-duals
