  5. Solid Sectional for the rankers. State ranked remaining = 279 / 280 99.64% East Chicago SS remaining= 137 / 140 97.86% Fort Wayne SS remaining= 137 / 140 97.86% New Castle SS remaining = 110 / 112 98.21% Evansville SS remaining = 138 / 140 98.57%
  6. Similar to 120, 113 at NCSS: #1 Cottey, #4 Anthony, #8 Wolf, #10 Wilburn, #11 Carrender, #12 Hooper, #14 Gilthero 81 ranked kids probably could have been 95-100, splitting hairs when you get to 17-25.
  7. Perry Meridian takes home the trophy with a 3.5 point victory over Roncalli. Rebels held a 16.5 point lead with 4 matches to go — 182 - Warren (1st) pins Southport (6 points - Rebels lead at 10.5); 195 - McClure (1st) pins Roncalli (6 points - Rebels lead at 4.5); 220 - Goodall pins Roncalli (6 points - Rebels behind 1.5); 285 (3rd) - Holiday with a 1-0 win over Roncalli to seal the deal. Exciting day and looking forward to one of the top regionals in the state (Perry) and IMO the deepest semi-state (New Castle) over the next 2 weeks.
  8. UPDATED: Sectional finish and current record 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
  9. UPDATED -- The only thing I am missing would be the final semi-state rankings for EVSS. Enjoy the day tomorrow! 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
  10. I am trying to keep up with all the changes, but I am done for the day....will update later tonight or tomorrow morning.
  11. Updated with FWSS rankings. 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
  12. Impressive #'s for sure, and there are probably a handful of wrestlers that are on the cusp of being ranked. A few that come to mind are Toole (Lebanon), Bond (Sheridan), and your guy Thrine (New Castle). The ranking guys have a difficult task, but based purely on the #'s this has the makings of the toughest semi-state I have witnessed in the last 10 years for overall depth.
  13. Updated with (1) ECSS rankings, (2) NCSS rankings and (3) new column on breakdown of total SS ranked wrestlers per sectional. ECSS ranked 10 per weight, NCSS ranked 8 per weight 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
  14. New column on my spreadsheet -- how many wrestlers are ranked in their respective semi-state from each sectional. That is a good indication of the depth/strength of the sectional. I have completed the ECSS (they have finalized their rankings): East Chicago Central -- 14 Portage -- 26 Crown Point -- 26 LaPorte -- 20 Mishawaka -- 20 Plymouth -- 12 Twin Lakes -- 4 Lafayette Jefferson -- 18
  15. Updated with records - I will make one final change on Thursday pm or Friday once the rankings have been finalized. 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
  16. My worksheet will illustrate any weight change for the kids that are currently ranked in the state or semi-state, it will be done sometime today and posted. #3 Nathan Willman (North Pose) moves from 195 to 220.
  17. 152 @ Carroll (FW) Sectional may not have the best combined record, nor the most top rated kids, but so far it has the most ranked wrestlers in one bracket. #17 - Cody McCune (27-1) ss #2 - Eli Hilger (25-1) ss #4 - Scottie Saylor (24-7) ss #7 - Carter Wireman (20-7) ss #8 - Kolin Cope (23-4)
  18. Cheaney Schoeff, ranked at 106, wrestling at 113
  19. Updated with Semi-State rankings 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
  20. FWSS is no picnic at 120 with Teusch, Boots, Robinson, Puckett and Heath. Personally I don't see a 'right draw' at 120, that weight is brutal with 12 returning State Qualifiers.
  21. I am looking at his IndianaMat page and the only name I recognize is Dominic Skees (SQ - 2019). 113 at NCSS will be hotly contested with Cottey, Anthony, Wolf (same regional as Thrine), Wilburn, Carrender, Hooper, and Glithero all ranked. Has he wrestled anyone ranked in the NCSS and maybe it is not listed on the website?
  22. Corrected - I had Gavinn Alstott listed in the Bloomington North Sectional. 2020 Wrestling Rankings per Sectional, Regional, SS.xlsx
