That was a great weekend. All the teams did very well.

I have attended the IHSAA State Wrestling Finals every year since 1970.
1970-1973 high school - competed @ HW in 1973
1974-77  while @ Purdue University - I was on Purdue's team - but still made State Finals
1978-2010 while coaching @ North Montgomery HS - didn't always have a competitor, but I was there
2011-present - I have been the tournament director
I think that's 46 years?
1985 - meet was moved to New Castle HS - same year my daughter was born - my 8 month pregnant wife was with me!

What a great show Napier,Mckinney, Vaughn and Ellis put on. Semi's and Finals for all 4 placements were great matches. Can't wait for the other 132 lber's to add into that this Saturday at NC

I think the kid that stepped up the most for Perry was Jordan Napier . I actually thought Penn's Sellis could win this match , or at worst lose a decision .It was a funky scramble , and Napier stuck him, so ya he stepped it up big time .  I knew going in that Perry would get tech falls or falls at 120,126 and 138 . 

Don't forget MD wasn't at full strength either.

I say Tommy stays right where he is. He lost to Drew last year at the Al Smith and didn't run. He will just work harder. Cash is a great competitor and see the loss as a challenge.

Looks good but I do believe Roth at 120 is way under rated. He is very solid.
