  1. Not sure about Beck, but we just got back from 14U National Duals in Philadelphia. Not quite the outcome we were hoping for. He went 4-1 on Thursday in Greco, then got a concussion during his first match Friday morning. Got red carded and out for the rest of the tourney. Great experience though and thankful for the experience!
  2. Be thankful you don’t have to watch/listen to mat 2 at Ft Wayne/New Haven…painful!!!!!
  3. Probably not top 25, but Kale Shotts definitely surprised some people last weekend. Yes, he's my son, but I'm not above throwing his name out there. He's only been wrestling since 6th grade, but has worked his butt off. Impressed with the level of wrestling from all the competitors. Also, a huge shout out to the Mishawaka coaches! When they found out Kale's coaches couldn't make it, they took him under their wing and coached him like one of their own. I can't say enough good things about those two guys, definitely a class act move on their part.
  4. Qualifiers were the same way...$20 for early weigh-ins.
  5. So I just answered one of my questions! I just registered my son for finals and the registration fee is $30 in case anyone is wondering.
  6. I'm fairly new to all of this, so forgive my ignorance! From what the event flyer said for the Plymouth Qualifier, The Finals will be seeded according to the placement in each qualifier. We've been to a few tourneys now, and I thought the Plymouth Qualifier went well, other than too many people standing around the mats. I thought it would have been nice if the kids who qualified would have at least gotten a certificate or something. Sounds like the Columbus North Qualifier did a great job. I do have a couple of questions about the Finals though. I haven't seen an event flyer for the finals, but I'm assuming weigh-ins will be the same as the qualifiers as far as times and options to weigh in early?? Also, I know I have to register my son for the finals, but is there a tournament fee for that one also? I haven't been on track to check that yet. You guys are a great community and we love being a part of this!
