  3. I've met half the list at Red Cobra and Outlaw practices/tournaments. They are all connected!
  4. Cohen Weitrich from New Pal should at minimum be notable mention. 7th grader who is a man child. Former state champ, has won two consecutive team titles with dragon wrestling club, and plays on the All-Indiana football team. Carter Sanford will also do very well as he's placed at ISWA. A lot of these kids are familiar names that will keep popping up in the years to come.
  5. The minimum IHSAA could do is start coverage 30 minutes early on Bally so we can watch the boys get announced. Flo shut down at 7:10 after they introduced the 106's. Everything is a money grab these days.
  6. In 3 years New Castle will be the deep end of the pool. Lots of talent coming up with Wrightway/Outlaws/Contender club kids. An example is New Palestine middleschool(finished 2nd this year) and Dragon Wrestling Club(back to back state Champs). Wrestling is on fire.
  7. His style of wrestling makes him a fan favorite. He absolutely brought it to Frazier. Every wrestler could learn something from watching that match. WHO CARES WHAT TRACKWRESTLING SAYS, BE THE AGGRESSOR! Indiana sure does love our underdogs!
  8. Needs to be indy. Butler Campus if need be but make sure it has the lighting to keep the tradition!
  9. The field in 23 was deep, and we saw some giants fall. Who had the biggest shock/upset of the weekend? Rioux taking Horn out? Thrine taking out Frazier? IMO, Hockaday, Dickman, and Thrine could all be 4-timers and cement their legacy, in a age where club wrestling is rampant. Indiana wrestling is getting so good, and all the credit goes to the boys/girls who put in the work. Well done!
  10. How's everyone's MS team looking this year? Yes, I'm biased, but New Palestine has a very strong team this year after gaining a few Dragon Wrestling Club Elementary Champions from last year. NP also picked up a few solid transfers that have a lot of club and National experience. Participation is definitely a strong suit as well with 68 kids. First match was Tuesday Jan 10th. Score was 105-12. Looking forward to the Yorktown meet this weekend!
