  1. Jason Terry and Marlin Stewart wrestled a bunch of times in the early 90’s. I remember enjoying those matches!! They always went at it!
  2. Mason Day of BBurg lost to 2 Indiana kids this year. 1 in OT in the semi state semifinals, Then a 7-3 match to Brabender at state. Where I think Brabender was one controversial locked hands call away from maybe being a state champ. I can guarantee you Mason will be working his butt off to be at the top of the podium next year as a senior. That dog will bite you if you overlook him next season.
  3. Betz definitely has a shot, as do a handful of others. Will be fun to watch it go down
  4. Not a lot of people thought my son could beat Stits either, but he did. I think 157 is the most wide open weight. If you look at the results between the top 12 ranked wrestlers, most have beat each other and wins are around 1-3 point differential. On any given day anybody beats anybody. I think Mason will handle himself fine. We’ll see what happens, but no matter the result, I’m proud of my son.
  5. You spelled Day wrong… it’s Day vs Betz 2nd Round…
  6. Mooresville 157lb has 5 out of 8 wrestlers in the bracket that are ranked in semi-state.

  9. You might have forgotten Revin Dickman on this list… kid just wins. gets to the finals every tournament and pretty much wins. In state duals he hasn’t lost a match.. I don’t know who the “best Wrestler” is on Brownsburg’s team, because there are a lot of kids near the top, but in terms of getting points for his team, Dickman is up at the top.

  16. I don’t see Bryce Denton in the rankings? If he is wrestling surly he is in the top 20 at 144,150 or 157? Not sure what weight he’s going but think should be ranked. Maybe an oversight..
  17. Brownsburg found out at weight 132 that the Pennsylvania team they were wrestling were trying to wrestle kids that missed weight. The coaches pointed it out to the refs, and the head table confirmed and made them forfeit 132 which gave Brownsburg a 15-9 lead. The Pennsylvania team got mad and forfeited the rest of their matches, so Brownsburg won the dual 63-9. it was tied 9-9 when they called them out.
  18. i disagree. I was there live, and video taped the match. Here is a frame of the video showing Mason completely on top, and in control. The second ref is starting to reach out to tap the main referee to mark times up.. Mason had control before this even before this frame is captured.
