  1. Don’t be sleeping on Krejsa. That kid continues to get better each match.
  2. This year’s Tell City team continues to set school records and I don’t think that they are done yet! Congratulations, to the Marksmen wrestling team!!
  3. Again, Tell City spotted that same amount of points (18) every duel last year and still came out on top. But, to answer your question, Tell City will most likely have 2 forfeits in their lineup for the tournament this weekend.
  4. Tell City did only forfeit 1 weight class (hwt) last year during the state tournament, but gave up 6 points at 195, 220, and hwt every duel during that tournament and were still able to come out on top.
  5. I’ve said it before and will say it again, Tell City is the 2 time returning champions and only lost 1 senior from last year’s team. it will most definitely be a super competitive 1A tournament, but IMO the Marksmen should absolutely be the number one seed. Good luck to all of the teams next weekend.
  6. That is an interesting opinion that you have on the 1A rankings. What is also interesting is that Tell City beat Rochester and Adams Central last year in route to claiming their second state title in a row and only graduated 1 senior from that team. I’m definitely not discounting the talent on the top 4 ranked teams, but to say that they are separated from the rest of the teams is a stretch at best. I can’t speak for any other teams, but I can say that Tell City has yet to put their best team on the mat this year due to sickness and injuries. Good luck to all the teams in their quest for a team state championship this year. Bryce Hammack
  7. I stand corrected. I had forgotten which weight that he wrestled at that tournament. He did wrestle at 152 earlier this summer in an out of season tournament in which he was very undersized even at “walk around weight”. It was the best weight for him to go at that tournament for the team. I can assure you that he will not have any problems wrestling at 132 as it stands right now.
  8. Anyone that has seen Coy knows that he is not nearly that heavy. I’m not sure how he got put in the conversation with the 152 pound kids.
  9. It is highly likely that Coy Hammack ends up going 132.
