Anyone Alexander I ran out of time to do individual breakdowns for the rest of the weights. If your looking for a weight in classes 126-160 than I have them posted individually so you can check them out on my page. Good luck to all wrestlers. Will be a great day!
  4. 1. Brayden Lowery- Brayden will likely have to wrestle Pierson in the final in a rematch of that regional matchup. It’s gonna be a match. He’s beat him multiple times already this season and I see him taking the win on Saturday. 2. David Pierson- I have David making it to the finals and being defeated by Lowery. He has a very favorable path to the final, which could help him possibly get the win, but I gotta go with Lowery. 3. Joey Langeman- After being defeated Cameron Toole at the regional, I have Joey taking 3rd over Toole this time. This matchup could certainly go go either way, but I’m gonna go with Langeman taking the bounce back victory. 4. Cameron Toole- As I previously talked about, Toole defeated Langeman at the regional. I have him making it to the 3/4 final, but falling short this time.
  5. Great breakdown. What a brutal semi state. There is a crazy amount of talent with some crazy ticket rounds... gonna be a crazy day.
  6. 1. Matt Koontz- Matt has has had a really tough last couple of weeks, taking 2nd at sectionals and 3rd at regionals, I see Matt bouncing back and taking the Semi State. He has a really tough matchup in the ticket round in Sebastian Bryant, which is another one of those matchups with multiple kids deserving of making the trip to bankers life. 2. Luke Goodwin- I have Luke taking down Andrew Wilson in the ticket round. Andrew was injured for a part of the season and maybe hasn’t seemed like he was doing the best wrestling we have seen him do. This is gonna be a really tough ticket round but I have to go with the guy who has some really quality wins this season to defeat Wilson and then go on to take down Aundre Beatty to get to the finals. 3. Aundre Beatty- Aundre Beatty has both defeated and lost to some really tough competition- he had a really quality win over Hunter Cottingham. I think he’ll be able to defeat Jared Brown in the ticket round to get to bankers life. 4. Hudson Harreld- I wasn’t sure whether to take the upset in Harreld over Slivka but I eventually figured I’d go with Harreld. Harreld has had multiple quality wins this season against some really good competition. I think this kid is primed for an upset over Slivka to get to bankers life. It’ll be one of the many great matchups on Saturday for sure. Good luck to all wrestlers on Saturday. Check out my other New Castle predictions I have posted as I go through every class.
  7. Not a huge upset, but right now I’m looking at that #18/#6 Dawson McCloud vs #12/#3 Hayden Flipovich matchup at 182. I love what Dawson has been doing all season. I could definitely see him punching his ticket over Flipovich. Another matchup I’m looking at is #8 in the semi state Hudson Harreld over #17/#6 Sam Slivka. Not 100% sure who I’m gonna have coming out of that matchup for my final predictions, but I might end up taking Harreld who has had some really quality wins throughout the season and I think he matches up pretty well can Slivka.
  8. 1. Logan Bailey- Right now, Logan looks to me like he might be the best guy in the state at 138 right now. Logan looked absolutely phenomenal at the Al Smith taking down Logan Wagner, who I predict he will take down again in the finals in New Castle. This is an extremely tough draw for Jevian Ross. This is another one of those tough tickets rounds that is going to send somebody home early that probably deserves to go to bankers life. 2. Logan Wagner- Logan was unstoppable vs Mattingly at semi state. He is somebody who will certainly be a tough out to any wrestler in the state. I could definitely see Logan taking the win, especially after that match where he really did just dominate Mattingly, but right now I have to go with the guy who, in my eyes, is the best in the state at this weight. 3. Brendan Mattingly- after having a tough regional where he simply didn’t look like himself vs Logan Wagner, I see Brendan having a solid day on Saturday and taking 3rd. Brendan has some solid wins on the season, defeating Logan Wagner early in the season, as well as Jay Orman, Landon Boe, and Jevian Ross, so you know he has it in him to do great things despite the tough loss at the regional. 4. Dylan Dorman- Dylan got a pretty good draw for himself. He hasn’t faced to much tough competition this season, but he’ll certainly have some this weekend at New Castle. Good of luck to all wrestlers on Saturday. Check out my other predictions I have posted as I roll through all of the New Castle brackets.
  9. Yah that’s true and it would take a long time to get them all done at once. It would be a really really long post if I did a full breakdown of every wrestler at every class at once.
  10. 1. Alec Viduya- I see the former state champ bringing home the semi state title this season. Undefeated on the year, it’ll be likely to see him on top of the podium at banker’s life too. 2. Jajuan Anderson- there will be multiple kids going home early in this tough 145 bracket, and either Jajuan Anderson or Jeff Dunasky will likely be one of them. I’m going with January Anderson taking second and not only defeating Jeff Dunasky, but also defeating Reece Luhman in the semi final. To me, Jajuan Anderson has simply proved himself over more tough competition than anyone in this bracket not named Alec Viduya. 3. Reece Luhman- another tough section to be in with two kids who likely deserve to make the trip to bankers life. I see Reece taking out another great wrestler in Gabe Gabe Philips and eventually taking down Carmel’s Jake Shafer. Reece has impressed me over and over again all season long and I expect for it to continue on Saturday. 4. Jake Shafer- Jake got a pretty good draw and I expect for him to capitalize. He certainly doesn’t have a cakewalk to bankers life, but I see him matching up well with every other kid in his section. As as I have said in my other predictions, good luck to all the young men wrestling on Saturday. Check out my other new Castle predictions I have out- I’m gonna try and get to every weight before saturday.
  11. 1. Brice Coleman- what a spectacular season this kid has had. Undefeated and currently ranked #1 in the state, it would be tough to bet against him right now. 2. Tyce Freije- what a tough draw for both him and Breyer Hall. Very unfortunate that one of them will be going home so early. But I have to go with Tyce on this one. Tyce has wrestled phenomenally with that tough to Roncalli schedule. Either one has a great chance of taking the match and I see whoever makes it out of that section of the bracket taking 2 and making it to bankers life. 3. Shane Bates- I certainly didn’t see this kid coming out and having this caliber of a season. Currently 35-1 on the year, I see him winning a tough match likely against Alford in the ticket round, and being defeated by the winner of the brutal Freije/Hall matchup, and eventually handling Tyler Jones to take 3rd. 4. Tyler Jones- what a great draw Tyler got for himself. There’s really no standout in this section of the bracket and every kid has a chance to move on to state. I simply haven’t seen a whole lot from this section of the bracket like have in other sections to take anyone other than the guy who’s had the best season as of right now. As I said on my new Castle 160 predictions, good luck to all wrestlers on Saturday. I look forward to a great day in Indiana Wrestling.
  12. 1. Copper Noehre - I predict for him to get the win on Saturday. I have been impressed by him all season and I can see him coming out and beating Elliot Rodgers in a close match in the semifinals, and eventually edging out Luke Davis in the finals. 2. Luke Davis - have been very impressed by this young man’s wrestling throughout the season including a very significant win vs Hollendoner at the al Smith, look for him to have a competitive showing on Saturday and beating some tough competition. 3. Elliot Rodgers- Elliot was dealt a tough hand having to wrestle Cooper Noehre in the semi finals. I can potentially see Elliot being defeated in the semi finals in a close match. 4. Dante Akins- he will certainly have to do some tough wrestling, but I think that he is certainly capable of beating Andrew Roth out of Lawrenceburg as I predict him to do. He will have to do some tough wrestling as I have seen him do all year. Good Luck to all wrestlers on Saturday and don’t take anything I said to serious- these are merely predictions after all.
