I don’t think anyone’s taking anything away from Kyrel’s accomplishments. The original post said he was the most dominant wrestler. Others have given their thoughts on who THEY thought fit that definition. 
Kyrel’s very athletic and knows how to compete. He & his club & HS coaches deserves all the credit for his accomplishments! He should definitely be proud, as should everyone involved, including his parents.

100% agree. Hockaday can’t be argued! 4 timer! I also thought Noah Weaver was stronger as well against some tough competition. 
I’ll admit, though that quiet strength & humility is my preference! We get enough over celebration from athletes on TV.

Leavell should have definitely been hit at least twice for unsportsmanlike conduct! His coaches should’ve corrected him immediately as well. There’s absolutely no place in this sport for standing over your opponent after pinning him & making gestures & talking trash! None! Then to walk away laughing & making a gesture as to say, “I spanked you” is unacceptable! 

The call should’ve been, and could’ve been, reversed by the asst ref, which may very well have been what happened. Do you know whether or not that was the case?

Uhhh it is an absolutely true statement. His season did live on "solely" because of good sportsmanship. Had Bburg not had good sportsmanship his season would be over regardless of a questionable call or him winning the match

If you know something to the contrary, state it.  If not, shut up.  The score wasn't changed, the kid was hurt, BB did the right thing and no one disrespected Henderson.  Not sure what your point is other than to see your own words.  None of what you are trying to say has ANY importance.

I completely agree. I was really impressed with all of the officials we had! I told a couple different people how nice it was. We had zero issues. I loved this tournament and hope to be back!

The others were fantastic officials - some of the best I've seen! Knowledgeable and minimal to no scoring/timing issues.

We never had that official throughout our day. I thought all the others did a geat job! 

Hands down, Reyes beats Wolf by 6 or more...maybe even by fall & will win semi-state w/o issue.

I sure hope this isn't true. Waiver? How can you get a waiver to overrule an IHSAA rule that every wrestler needs to abide by? I again hope this isn't true, but it seems some coaches at the seeding meeting have already confirmed it on the forum. It's like Hornet Coach said, Coaches work hard and work hard for their wrestlers to follow the rules. Our 106 pounder and many others only weigh between 90 & 100 lbs. Of all weights to allow a waiver, it shouldn't happen at 106. It shouldn't happen at any weight class but especially 106. Unacceptable.

This conversation happens after almost every event. I found no issues with the officiating I appreciate the double stalls get some action going.
