Maybe Lemley vs. Mendez in the quarters??

Shephard vs. Ison was a really good.  Two high level wrestlers. Shepherd is a lot like J Tsirtsis

These are kids.  Tough losses for CP with a lot of pressue the original poster didn't help.  But give Brownsburg credit they were awesome.  CP lost some tough matches and Brownsburg won them.  Awesome job by them.  
 
Myers wrestled a smart match.  Larocca and Jendreas was a great match. 

He is tough and does wrestle a lot like Tsirtsis but takes a few more risks and D is not as solid at this age but I think he is better on his feet as a freshman.  He did look like he gassed in the 3rd today.  Maybe first match at state was a little excited and got tired.

Calling Ison over Shepherd and Ison wins it all.  Think that will be the difference in the team race.  Reynolds vs. Hawkins will be big.  Paul Clark losing was big.  Should be some good wrestling tomorrow.  

Mosier vs. Hawkins will be good.  Mosier lost to Hockaday by 1 last year in the semis.  This could be a really good match.

Watch the CP vs. Mt. Carmel dual.  Ref was calling double stalling early and often.

Ok did not realize that.  But even his loses were tight this weekend.  He was really close to be in the finals losing in double OT.  He finds his form this match will be good.  Hawkins is not a real threat on his feet, but he is tough as nails in top and bottom wrestling.  If Mosier gets in he has to finish which isn't easy against Hawkins

126- Hawkins, Mosier, Reynolds and Bragg.  That is pretty tough quarter.  What others are toughest?  There could be some good 1 vs. 4 matchups as well.

I think it will be closer than many might think.  Lemely is tough.  They know each pretty well.  Mendez 8-3.  Lemely was always much smaller than Mendez

I did like the stall calls but the stall call on Gavin Lewis in the 3rd period was crazy.  He was down one and pushing the action?  Maybe I missed a penalty point against him instead of a stall?  But overall the refs were good.  Took awhile to call some pins.

Best season from Indiana IMO was J Tsirtsis senior year.  Not only did he beat the #2 kid by 14 and beat Caldwell.  But during the season bumped up two wt classes and majored Steveson who I think got top 5 at 160 that year.  Think he was the #1 P4P his senior year maybe number two. Tsirtsis beat some studs at the last chance qualifier that year.  Best wrestler Ive ever seen is David Taylor.  Howe running into Burroughs during his prime was tough.  Howe could have been a senior level world medalist.  He always gave Burroughs great matches and did take a couple matches that were 2 out 3.

That transfer from Maryland is a big difference.  If he wrestles Crown Point probably wins, if not which it does not sound like Brownsburg probably wins. Should be another good dual and team race with all 3 schools, injuries will play a big part

He will be at Ironman ready to make some noise! Those pre rank seedings are just for our entertainment and won't mean anything when toe is to line! Like jorville said no sense in making a weight for a dual  then have fri/sat weigh ins too!

Ill take Hockaday.... Stanley is going to be really tough.  120-132 is going to be really tough.  

Clinton was absolutely devastated and andrew howe fought like a beast to challenge it right after the match but they would not accept the challenge and you can see at the end andrew threw brick and they gave it back and andrew even walked on the mat after the match to talk to them! 
 
But 1 thing I'm EXTREMELY proud of is the fact that clinton handled it better than 99% of the adults in the world and eventually said "it is what it is" have to move on and handle business!  Proud of his grit, determination and attitude! 

Congrats to both wrestlers.  What a great game plan from Goodwin.  I watched him wrestle last year at state and he was a little more reckless.  This year his focus and fundamentals were incredible.
 
Ruhlman lost to a CP wrestler under the lights three years in a row.  That is crazy
