  6. I am not 100 percent sure, however I believe that the selected format was freestyle. In all honesty I am intrigued either way.
  7. Do not let this opportunity slip past you. This man has more than enough wrestling knowledge and talent to share. Oh and I can't leave out how great his personality and sense of humor is. Class act! Going to be a great one.
  8. This weight could be very interesting if these returning top placers stay at 106 with possible additions like Sergio Lemley, Cole Solomey, Sam Goin, Logan Frazier, and Cheaney Schoeff. I think Goin is a kid that will be right up there with Cottey and Cernus fighting for a title.
  9. I like the Bates pick a ton. Of course we can't forget about Donahue and Laplace. Bates is as tough and humble as they come. Warren would have to be my two. Cottey and Hall at the 3-4 and I am not sure If I would have Ellis up there just yet.
  10. I personally don't see it happening next season, who do you have breaking the trend?
  11. @Bigyusm and Jose Diaz also both run a great team on the rise in the Indiana Flash. I know they have a few trips plan and take a few studs in each weight class.
  12. Indiana Outlaws are great, reach out to Bryan Bailey. He is a great guy with fair prices, and I can't forget to mention his teams are stacked more often than not.
  13. I appreciate the information! How long did it take for ya to break that down?
  14. Curious to see who will represent Indiana at 106lbs. Not a single senior qualified for any of the four semi-state brackets.
  15. I agree, very interesting. Impressive to say the least.
  16. Class of 2019 Impressive Overall State Records Asa Garcia 15-1 2019 1st at 132lbs 2018 1st at 126lbs 2017 3rd at 113lbs 2016 1st at 106lbs Jordan Slivka 14-2 2019 1st at 160lbs 2018 1st at 145lbs 2017 5th at 126lbs 2016 3rd at 113lbs Brayden Curtis 12-4 2019 4th at 126lbs 2018 1st at 113lbs 2017 1st at 106lbs 2016 7th at 106lbs Hunter Watts 12-4 2019 3rd at 126lbs 2018 1st at 120lbs 2017 2nd at 113lbs 2016 6th at 106lbs Cayden Rooks 11-1 2019 1st at 138lbs 2018 2nd at 126lbs 2017 1st at 120lbs Nick South 8-0 2019 1st at 170lbs 2018 1st at 160lbs Jacob Moran 9-3 ( IMO this would likely be 13-3 if he didn't lose eligibility in the 2017 season). 2019 1st at 113lbs 2018 1st at 106lbs 2016 8th at 106lbs Did I miss anyone?
  17. #4 Giovanni Diaz, 34-2, Wheeler, 11 vs #17 Kamariyon Nelson, 27-9, Brownsburg, 9 Although Diaz has only suffered losses to #1 Moran and #3 Bettich at 120, I still think Nelson remains a threat. Brownsburg has an elite schedule that has lead to the Freshman suffering a few more losses than some had expected. Something to keep in mind is that Nelson owns a 12-2 MD victory over Diaz in the IHPO finals at 109 lbs back in September. Can he do it again? What are your predictions?
  18. There is no doubt that Brewer is the man to beat, but Jacob Laplace is no cake walk. Laplace is very tough to score on, so a major is very unlikely. I see it being a very competitive, low scoring exchange. IMO the winner of this bout will likely represent the bottom-half bracket under the lights. Good Luck to Carson and Jake! Embrace it!
  19. In my personal opinion, this matchup is a toss up. I think a takedown wins the match. At this stage I'd say both get out from the bottom position leaving it to be settled in the neutral position. I think all could agree Mendez is more technically sound on his feet, however they are both incredibly smooth and Littell brings some horsepower to the party as well. Good luck to both studs this weekend!
  20. Hobart Cristian (SO) 120 & Ruben Padilla (FR) 106 Nathan (JR) 126 & Trevor Schammert (FR) 113 There is a lot of young talent for the Hobart staff to play with, not to mention they start Hobart off well making up the first four weights. All four will be competing in their first ECC semi-state, looking to punch their first ticket to the big show.
