I bet all the bananas neither of them make it to the finals... two of the wrestlers that aren't them have already made out to the finals, season is over different wrestlers come out now

Indiana becoming a state that allows middle school wrestlers to compete on high school teams.  This may help avoid FF's, especially with small school programs.  I believe other states that allow middle school wrestlers to wrestle on high school teams are Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Iowa=traditionally strong college programs?? I may be incorrect with the states listed, but if memory serves me correctly I thought some states at least allow 8th graders??
May not be a reality for this to happen in Indiana.  If it is taking place in other states, why not Indiana?  I imagine we can all argue that some 8th graders if not 7th graders could stand on the podium at Bankers Life......

    Two thoughts:
    1. Reduce tech fall differential to 10 points. Or, give the option for tournament or super dual sites to use a 10-point tech fall rule.
Rationale: Speeds up long days. Another step toward reducing mat time that might allow for 6 matches in a day in the future. Doesn't reduce possibility of big comeback because comebacks will seem just as miraculous if they happen from a 9-point deficit with a 10-point rule as they do now with a 14-point comeback with a 15-point rule. And 99.9% of matches will have the same winner even with a reduced point differential requirement.
    2. Aside from blatant shove-outs, award a point for an opponent stepping out of bounds from the neutral position.
Rationale: Speeds up matches by reducing out-of-bounds stoppages and adding a few more points here and there. Forces exciting wrestling as wrestlers must stay in bounds. Becomes a second-nature rule very quickly, as evidenced by the easy adaptation that took place when freestyle competition adopted a similar rule.

So if no chang in seeds what lesson is learned. Hey go ahead cheat during the season nothing really happens to you. I feel sorry for the kids that are busting their ass doing it the right way. When you look at it seems like everyone is punished but Carmel. Those kids and coaches should be disqualified they know right from wrong and still chose to do it.

So what is the IHSAA logic for the late bracket release occurring the 25th at 9AM Eastern?   Heres some of my theories.
    1. Historically,  as everybody knows, they've been released much earlier.
    2.  Are they waiting for the let coaches digest or even  give them an opportunity to make complaints or recommendations for changes prior to the brackets being released?
    3.  Has there been a problem with any public commentary in the past creating controversy?  Maybe the IHSAA feels by waiting for time closer to the tournament,  they'll get less annoying public input from fans & parents.
    4.  Is the IHSAA tired of people complaining about wrestle backs  and class wrestling and in a petty way punishing fans for their complaints.
    5.  Maybe some "Southern Cowboys" broke the rules and submitted earlier than they wanted,  and as a result are going to make everybody wait till Friday? because of a few bad apples?
    6.  Maybe they're concerned about Y2CJ41 control and monopolization of the wrestling media,  and  are sending him a message that they control the message.
    7.  Maybe its the bad guy good guy theory.  They project to the fans that fans you got to wait till Friday,  then they give them early like an early Christmas present, then we end up loving them.
    8. TrackGopher has a secret back door agreement with the IHSAA,  and they're going to announce this afternoon that you can get access to brackets early by getting  Trackwrestling premium membership.
    9.  Maybe Y2 has a secret agreement with IHSAA and,  Y2 will announce this afternoon that he will  send brackets to you if you buy a Indiana mat shirt or early subscription to next seasons preview.
    Hey just theories.

It looks like Cooper has had quite the start to the season. He lost to No. 1- ranked Rodgers in OT, beat No. 2 ranked Fair and No. 3 ranked Schoenegge at 152 pounds, beat No. 2 ranked Graves at 145 pounds then lost to Bryar Hall. He's wrestled some studs in the early goings.
As a side note, Bryar Hall is one heck of a wrestler.

Coop is a CIA kid.  So through the summer he frequently was rotating in with Silas, Winner.....and at times Dylan Lydy!  So he had 2 choices......Get beat up, or get better”. And fact is, the kid got better. Trememdous competitive heart.
He’s a great kid away from the mat as well.  Very genuine.  The Allred’s are big fans of Coop....and these early results have came as no surprise to us.  Don’t be shocked if he continues closing some small gaps and finds himself under the lights in Feb.
