Surprised Antknee did not end up taking over the Jimtown program.  I know he put a lot of time and effort into those kids and the youth program.  I  appreciated his efforts in making the Jimtown RTC great.  Excited for him to get the head job at Bremen- watch out for those Lions, Antknee will do a great job.  Hope he starts an RTC @ Bremen this spring!

BTW peasants, Anthony Lewis, former assistant at Jimtown, nephew/little brother of THE Darrick Snyder, is now the head man at Bremen! Congrats to Antknee and the Snyder crew! Now Bremen it's not quite Jimtown but it's not quite Brownsburg, it's almost right in the middle... GO LIONS

Great room tonight!  Thanks for working out the details to let this run even with the Sectional Basketball Tournament.  Really appreciate how Jimtown helps support the whole area in their pursuit of excellence in wrestling.  Keep up the good work!

Nick Crume-Two 3rd place finishes and a championship his senior season at Jimtown and now having a fine college career at U of Indy with two AA so far with the rest of this year and next year still to come.

Tomorrow at 5:30pm we are ready to rock n roll BUT there are a few things that need to be addressed.
 
Here is the situation. The IHSAA Basketball Sectional is being hosted at Jimtown this week. Everyone MUST enter/exit through door A2 right next to the Wrestling Room. Unfortunately, there will be no locker rooms available this week, due to the basketball game. Please work with me on this so everything runs smooth!
 
When you arrive, please sign your name on the sign-in sheet next to the scales. The ISWA is requiring us to keep record of who comes in to our room.

LETS WRESTLE

In particular I would like to thank the students/athletes who helped ref and run tables.  They did an outstanding job.  Always impresses me when these Sunday meets find young people to give up a Sunday to donate back to the cause. 

351 participants. Started at 9:13 and ended at 1:30! What a day. Wouldn't of worked without our great parents and people of Jimtown! A few minuscule issues but ran smooth all 4 hours! #TooSweet

NFL talk is a bit premature.  As of now, at least according to the recruiting sites, Mason only has offers from Cincinnati and Ball St.  He's getting interest from others, so more offers may or may not come. Purdue?  Is Purdue football better than Ball St. or Cincinnati?  You get to play against better players and in better stadiums, but.....   To clarify, I'm sure more offers will come, but will higher level offers come?   I don't think it's realistic to do both at a high level.  

You obviously haven't been to team state where 1A fans are definitely the loudest and probably the biggest crowd.

Well Kenny Kerrn just decided to go to Trine to play football. College football coaches LOVE wrestlers!!! Wasn't sure where he was looking but those small town kids are always animals at the next level, like they've got something to prove. It's beautiful! HA

Yes football. Eli turned into a beast at linebacker this season. I really think it helped his confidence goto another level.

First of all congratulations. I'm pretty sure that he was the lowest ranked guy to win a state title since indianamat has started.(sometimes ranking really don't mean anything). You put together a amazing run congrats to Eli and the entire Monrovia family. The question I have is when is the last time a guy lost in the regional and won state next year? Every kid out there who needs motivation for next year doesnt have to look very far.

Played college ball with Harvey, great kid! Fortunately the Jimmies got to sit next to the Monrovia clan and Stock family. To have two kids place and one being a champ is kind of a big deal! Do they play football or any other sports?

The whole family is! Dad came up and congratulated us, complimented Kyle for getting after it, stated how good of a wrestler he was, and wished us the best of luck in college! So dogging on them shows who the classless are! Good luck Lee's, it's going to be fun watching you guys. From a new FAN!
