  1. He is very good. If this is who I think it is, the match between the two of them was pretty good this past season but Mason won.
  2. They have cancelled every time we were supposed to go against them in a dual for the last 3 years. If you have a program less than 5 years old and your kids never see action, that is a bigger hindrance than the size of your school.
  3. I could be wrong but I believe that is Antonio McCloud. He is from Elder High School in Cincinnati. I believe he is/was ranked #2 in Ohio at 220.
  4. Switzerland County does not really have a wrestling team. To my knowledge, they have never even wrested a single match. They call and cancel all of them.
  5. Nick is an awesome guy and coach. He really pushes kids to the next level!
  6. There are pros/cons to each side. For years our kids were told they will NEVER win a team state title because it is very hard to do with only 7-8 kids in the wrestling room. I think there are bigger fish to fry though... just my opinion but can we work on getting wrestlebacks BEFORE anything else? There are many kids every year placing low that can dominate the some/many people placing above them.
  7. Mark Parris-Lawrenceburg. One the surface, may not seem to impressive but he has had a hand in training not only in the 3 from Lawrenceburg this year but many from EC as well. And the kids he has trained are just starting to come up through high school! Mark Parris-Lawrenceburg. Not only has he had a hand in training the 3 qualifiers from Lawrenceburg but also many of the kids from neighboring schools as well... and the kids he has trained are just starting to come up through Hugh school.
  8. Weights would be difficult because there doesn't seem to be a uniform weight class listing for middle school in Indiana. It seems to be a regional decision or a school-by-school decision. And with open enrollment, projected high school may be a tough one too. Especially with the amount of private schools around the bigger cities.
  9. The length of the day and the amount of matches is certainly a concern... especially when leaving in six inches of snow and/or ice like last year! Let's hope we have a better turnout of the boys from the Southeastern part of the state this year... lots of great wrestlers in middle school this year but not a lot attend MS State.
