More protection than standard headgear. Trying our best to help prevent another concussion. Would like to use for practices and competition. He has used the LDR headgear and he did not like it last year. Since our dogs chewed the LDR headgear up , we are trying to get something new. Any other suggestions for a more protective headgear is welcome also.
We have contacted mr. Faulkner and a head referee. They said to check with NFHS. NFHS said it’s a local interpretation. So that’s were we stand as of now.
Does anyone know if this headgear is approved by IHSAA ? Our coach is getting the run around from a few different people that should be able to give an answer.
When our oldest son wrestled a few years ago his high school team went up to Maconaquah for a fall offseason tournament. Not sure if they still have it or would have it this year with all that is going on.
