  1. Silas Allred with some positive press on Flo. 2 away from the podium. A foolish weight cut resulted in drastic underachieving at Freestyle. The days of 170lbs are over.
  2. Shenandoah has a very solid kid named Justin Hummel who'll undoubtedly make an impact on our lineup 126-138. A couple other kids I've gotten a pretty good look at that show a lot of promise is.....Keon Sullivan from Warren Central. He's tall, athletic and pretty strong.....but seems a little undersized to roll at 170 with the elite guys. Tons of potential though. I also like Garret Sandefur of Mishawaka. I think he can impact their lineup nicely with continued hard work.
  3. Silas Allred will be wrestling 170 at Freestyle & 170/182 at Greco as a first year Cadet. Other notables I'm aware of, but not yet mentioned are.....Manzona Bryant-Cadet, Lucas Davison-Junior & Eli Pokorney-Cadet. These young men, as well as the wrestlers mentioned in the previous posts have a great chance to bring home All American honors......and potentially even more prominent accolades. Plenty of other very capable studs making the trip as well. Team Indiana will be well coached, and well represented at multiple weight classes.
  4. Congratulations to Josh Gee from Shenandoah for signing with Indiana Tech. He is projected to wrestle 165/174.
  5. Carson Brewer was also 12-0 and wrestled outstanding.
  6. Outstanding weekend for the entire squad. Very much appreciate your confidence and kind words regarding my son. Thank you for the opportunity you guys provided him this week.
  7. Congratulations gentlemen. Continued success at the next level!
  8. Silas Allred-Cadet 170 Jesse Mendez-Schoolboy 105 .......and others.
  9. Congratulations. High character young man with a tremendous work ethic.
  10. Congratulations to a great young man.....and great family.
  11. And he wrestles like he's 15 or 16
  12. Indiana Gold placed 3rd overall. Only IN squad to earn a true placement. The other IN teams were in the silver and copper pools. All the young men representing Indiana wrestling competed well and spilled their guts. Quite a few guys were undefeated or only lost once. Further.....even some of our IN studs with more than a single loss had big wins against State placers and very legit kids from the states represented. Genuinely plenty to be proud of.
