    I agree with most except for 135, 182, and heavyweight. I think cash being a two timer at that weight gives him the edge. Carson was a machine last year. And Streck is prolly one of the best Indiana heavyweights of all time. (In high school)

    Lucas Davison is wrestling at 197, in the quarters he will be wrestling Brunner.

    And I’ve always hated people being critical on refs that have been doing this for YEARS.

    As an outsider, not rooting for any team just there watching wrestling, I thought the officiating was like any typical officiating at any other tourney. There were some head scratching calls, but I’ve seen those same calls at every tourney, it being here in the region or down in central Indiana. Nobody is perfect but those officials I thought did a helluva job. The only call I will always hate a ref make is double stalling. I absolutely hate that call especially in a heavyweight match, someone is pushing the pace, someone is making attempts. You will never see me agree with a double stall call.

    I mean at least he got the job done and got a scholarship to a great D1 school. A lot of other kids I’m sure would’ve loved to have been in Carson’s shoes during high school. Totally off topic, how many times did you win a state title?

    I’m picking two homers but I’m going with Dancy, guy can move and scramble at heavyweight wouldn’t be surprised if he is under the lights. And that little guy Ty, I think he makes a deep run at state. Also my cousin Hayden Lewter is a solid 220 at Gavit could make a statement as only a sophomore in an upper weight. I said I was going homer picks lol

    After watching them last night it’s hard for me to believe they lose a dual. I know it’s early and there are many great teams but that group being soooo young is VERY talented. I highly dislike CP, but I give credit when it’s due. They are fun to watch.

    I’ve watched wrestling for years and it’s been awhile since I’ve seen portage get worked that bad. Pretty good RWA squad they got over there in CP. They are going to be REALLY tough to beat head to head.

    4. Valencia and hall is gonna be a great one again. The way Valencia put it on Lewis was just brutal.

    I think what he is trying to say is if Red was seeded higher he would’ve went further in the championship bracket instead of facing the #1 seed in the round of 32. I believe he could’ve made quarters or semis if he didn’t pull yianni second round. So it that sense seeding does matter.

    I agree. When they were interviewing brands and he was staying in front of him to get the interview. This is go time, wait until a break for the coaches and give a little time for the wrestlers after a grueling win.

    If nick has a lead after 1 it’s over. Would love to see Nick up 4-1 or 4-2 after the first period.
