  1. I'm having difficulty trying to get my son to balance football and wrestling, it seems after wrestling season ended, he wants to be in full football mode (lifting weights & football camps) and all I want him to do is more wrestling tournaments during the weekend to help him improve for next year. It is difficult for me cause I feel he had such a great sophomore wrestling season, winning county and making it to state and all I want him to do is focus a little more on wrestling after the season is over so he can possibly win State his junior or senior year. Just wondering if any other members have this issue and their feelings on this topic?
  2. Great stuff! Not the first time we have heard the term "Goforth & Prosper"
  3. Totally agree! I showed this to my son in hoping to get him even more motivated for Semi-State this weekend.
  4. I'm new to this site, but absolutely love it so far. I'm a member of a rivals site (Soonerscoop) that I use for football recruiting, I pay $100 a year and the information that I get on this site is more useful than anything I've gotten off Soonerscoop.
  5. Overall I thought the referees were pretty good. There were some calls that didn't need to be made, which two were called by the same ref.
  6. Whitaker vs. Vanhorn rematch will be interesting
  7. Did not understand the call at all!
  8. sslaymon, thanks for the information. I hate to hear that for the kid, that's an injury that hard to come back from, depending on how bad the tear was. It's hard because you have to get past the trust issue with the knee first. Good luck to him in the future!
  9. I love the feedback! What was the issue during the regular season with Hammonds from Whiteland, I heard it was knee injury but no confirmation?
  10. Great job! My son is Grant Goforth at 182lb, we are fairly new to the wrestling scene, being this his only 2nd full season and have fell in love with the wrestling scene. Good luck to all the wrestlers. Again, thanks for insight on all the classes!!
