I know I caused a slowdown when I caught that the consos were running 2,2,2 and one of my guys got pinned in 1:09 in the first period.

Lawrenceburg Double dual featuring Lawrenceburg, Milan, and Greensburg was canceled this past weekend due to Lawrenceburg playing at football state. 11/26/2022 -
We're at 12 this year. Most years we start with around 16-20 and by Christmas break we're down to 12-14. This year, those kids that would normally quit didn't even come out. It sucks having the room seem empty but at least it's 12 kids that want to be there from day 1.

I remember winning my conference tournament in 7th grade and thinking I was hot stuff. Then I went dos and adios at state. That was a real eye opener.

Bryant Merritt of Greensburg was a ticket rounder last year at 113 and will be returning at the same weight this year as well. -

The Ford Center is a great setup. It's also in no way a centralized location for the semistate. It's in the backyard for the local teams and over 3 hrs away for others. -

I'll stick up for the former Connersville coaches on this one. They ALWAYS pushed for wifi and track wrestling in the Spartan Bowl. They went to their AD with a presentation of how it would improve the tournament and improve the revenue for the school if they spent the money to modernize the tournament but still got shot down every year. It's really a shame, this part of the state could really use a high-quality holiday tournament.
