Negative consequences for resting starters who are sick?! Lmao you gotta be joking me! I pray McGinely (sp?) and crew never have to rest a few starters due to illness and lose. God forbid a kids health being more important then some local tournament win. But you wanna say they should drop in the rankings, lmao give cathedral the top spot. Brownsburg at full strength runs through that tourney like a hot knife through butter. 

I am a fan of rankings because I believe it can get your community talking about your team and ultimately grow the sport.  This being said you will hear no complaint from Brownsburg regarding our ranking or seed at anything.   Seeds and rankings generate discussion of our sport which is good for our growth.  We care nothing but the end result.   Yorktown brought what they could and beat us at Mooresville. They were not at full strength either.  Congrats to them on getting the job done.

Out of curiosity who are you taking the shot at? Every team does what's in their teams best interests. I can't speak for our coaches but it looks like we use this tournament to get our others some quality matches, rest some that need it, and so on. To each their own! With that being said there was some GREAT wrestling the past couple of days. Kudos to Mooresville for a very well ran tournament. As for us, the #PAINTRAIN, were off until we will be heading up to Detroit Catholic Central for their monster tournament next wknd. 

Great job to the tigers this weekend however I’m hoping this isn’t a shot at those kids who were too sick to wrestle at this tournament. “Discipline” doesn’t stop the flu from draining your body energy and nutrients. Hope they recover and are healthy enough to wrestle soon.

Hey all I don't wanna take a bunch of time I know the seasons just started and the Magazine is right around the corner. Not to mention all the college opens starting its a grerat weekend for wrestling. But I will be using this weekend to raise money for Rileys Childrens Hospital. Last year I made $240 for them and would like to try and double that this year. I will be streaming video games on twitch.tv/nickydubz for a about 8 hrs over the next 3 days starting at around 8pm. You do not need to watch to be involved all I ask is that you take a look at this here link and donate to a good cause. Donatations can be made till December 31st so dont feel obligated to do it today if funds are tight. All funds raised go to Riley and are tax delectable. I guess that makes sense,  and that does make it more clear.     Since there's only one match for the third place pool teams (think about changing next year),  and as Y2 pointed out that its very unlikely that Harrison and Carroll will wrestle.   Then based on rankings and if this was seeded down to 12 teams,  Harrison would have been seeded ahead of Ft. Wayne Carroll.  At least we got that Y2!!
Here's an idea,  and I know it will probably will not happen,  how about an voluntary exhibition match between the 3rd place pool teams.  Think about it,   we got some good teams at the coliseum,  everybody will be there with shoes all laced up ready to go.   Teams paying for hotels and big bus trips and fans coming down,  why not give them  an extra bonus match. Teams  should least get at least four matches for getting to the show.  Just an idea by the Scholar.

We came from Putnam county. It was a no brainer for us. The academics are top notch. The sports programs are top notch. But, more importantly, the parental involvement is MUCH better. We love #paintrain and #thecounty. We also love the kids from Putnam county that put the work in. They have some studs. They know who they are and we will hear from them at the end of the season. Look forward to this Saturday FO SHO!

Just my 2 cents......may not be worth a nickel.  But I personally feel like drawing comparisons in a way that has each team wrestling "straight up"........isn't a fair assessment of who'd actually win. I realize that's the only way to do it on paper, without making hypothetical guesses about what moves a team would make.  However......in a match up like Cathedral vs Brownsburg.........or in a possible showdown next weekend featuring Burg vs Portage, I think something as meaningful as the coin flip can have huge implications.  I'm as interested in hearing of the coaching strategies ("hearing" because we plan to still be wrestling), as I am to learn of the winners of possible match-ups.  A healthy Avon could create some casualties as well. But hammer vs hammer aside......things could get pretty creative in regards to moveable parts.  Just my opinion obviously.  Exciting weekend regardless of how things shake out!

If you're a person that would like to see class wrestling, you're probably the same person that likes participation trophies!

Evansville 126 will be fun too... you'll have Rooks, Garcia, Mills, Denny, Cash, etc.  Should be a great year with those boys being battle tested come state time!  

The toughest on I know of is Evansville 138. It’s crazy! In no order....

and the first three are in the same sectional!!! 
Dont see a tougher semi-state weight class out there. Prove me wrong.
