coachkrulik reacted to Darrick Snyder in Kyle Ayersman-Warren RTC
Just when I think I have Kyle under control there he is spreading himself out. Just remember Co-Head Coach Kyle Ayersman if you ever leave, it’s your puppy Jet who pays the price. Jet is a cute puppy. I don’t want to hurt him, but I will. I want you to be my BFF. It’s on you if Jet goes down. Everyone go to Warren for this. Ayersman is modest, but the dude is hammer - even with a screwed up knee. You will get elite technique.

coachkrulik reacted to leaveitonthemat in most impressive TODAY??
Here are a few things that impressed me today and a few that didn’t.
Impressive
1.Asa Garcia wrestled like a man on a mission. The way he handled Smiley and Mills was awesome.
2. Rumph’s takedown game. He was fast, strong, and was scoring points with ease. The way he scored on Lee and Melloh...wow.
3. Rader, not sure if it was the way he went after it in the final or his mustache.
4. Fattore-the way he handled the controversy, with class.
5. The beard game in the Avon and Wabash corner was strong!
6. I hate to admit it, but Cathedral wrestled lights out all tournament series.
Not impressive (not in any order)
1. Fair’s singlet, sorry but I like the Perry blue
2. Tonte’s shoes, I thought Krulik was killing something?
3. I had Mulkey winning it all, but I was not impressed with the way he wrestled. I wished he would have been more aggressive.
4. Little Rooks. I also had him winning, but he just didn’t let it go. That four point stance I think hurts him more than helps.
5. The lack of breakfast food offered to all of us early risers at Bankers life.
6. We didn’t get a Mongolian protest. When Snyder took off the tie I thought it was coming

I used a JV 106 who missed weight for coyote bait. Works every time.

The real question on Tonte's attire is, did Krulik kill whatever Tonte is wearing on his feet?

Coaches social will be afterwards on Saturday night at casa del Tonte. His ruggedly good looking assistant coach will be cooking deer steaks.

coachkrulik reacted to Darrick Snyder in 138 State Finals - Brayton Lee (Brownsburg) vs. Matt McKinney (Warren Central)
Brayton Lee dropping from 145 to 138 was a team and coaches decision - and ultimately my decision. We made a move of dropping all of our guys from 152 to 132 a weight class. This allowed us to get a hard working senior in the lineup at 152 and we felt made all of our other wrestlers stronger a weight class down. I would say it worked out okay for Brownsburg Wrestling this year.
To say Brayton Lee dodged anyone is absolutely hilarious and insulting. He was in Nick Lee's weight class last year as someone else mentioned. Also, fell free to look at the tournaments he attends - like Flo Nationals, Super 32, and Fargo. Pretty decent competition at those. Heck I can't get him to go to some of our team tournaments because there isn't tough enough competition there for him.
To the couple of internet hero tough guys who decided to come after a sophomore in high school I ask: What in the world did Brayton Lee do this weekend to make you attack him? He won a State Championship as an undefeated Sophomore in High School and I could not be more proud of how he handled himself.

Anytime a coach receives an award like this it's a direct reflection of not only himself but his entire staff and program. Congrats to all and good luck this weekend...unless you wrestle us.
Coach Gill, I'm pretty sure I'm insane. Nothing like climbing cliffs without ropes to develop mental toughness. Congrats buddy!

I agree I saw the seed for Smiley at 152 -- makes no sense him being in the same bracket as #1 seed. Maybe he's a #3 if he lost head to head with #2, but that would still keep him away from the 1
