Please be serious, this is not about money.  Crown Point probably had 4 new kids move in the week the Moran's left.  The IHSAA specifically forbids transfers for primarily athletic reasons.  Period.  If people don't like the rule, contact the IHSAA and voice your complaint.  
 
As for the Moran's I don't know them or their specific situation, and probably neither do 99% of the other posters on this forum.  What I do enjoy is the uproar in the country about rules not being followed until it affects them personally. I say let's have open enrollment at any time.  Don't like your team's chances come January?  Transfer to a better one. Coach is a jerk in December?  Transfer.  Can't beat the guy in your weight class?  Transfer.  
 
Lastly, Crown Point should build a wall so kids can't leave and Portage should pay for it.  Problem solved.

To anyone out there that has not had the opportunity to meet Brayton let me tell you that this article is great but after you meet him you will soon realize this article doesn't even come close to describing how great of a kid he really is. 
I have seen Brayton spend his rest time between coach Snyder's practice sessions playing tag and rolling around with little kids and enjoying it as much as the next go live session. 
He takes time out to give back to the youth at his club, academy and his community.
Great kid and when you meet the parents you realize where he gets his direction and perspective from.

I love reading the posts from da rat................it reminds me of home..... Its funny because I am certain that a lot of people that I know have to read his posts several times to get a real understanding of what he says but for me its like when my 6 yr old brings home a paper from school where he writes a story and misses letters and mis-spells words and phonetically spells some of the words.........I can read it clear as day so to da rat I say keep postin' bro its always a good read for me !!!!

I know it's a wrestling site..but being a 50+ year #CubFan is very similar to wrestling and what it teaches you. Perseverance, pride, coming back after tough losses and years....continual hope in the process knowing that #SomeDay would come eventually. So even if you aren't a #CubFan...today the W can stand for Wrestling too! Cubs...Wwwwoooo!

All kidding aside it was a great tourney and Hawkins and the RWA faithful ran things wonderfully and smoothly.  Started at 9a and we were out of the gym with mats being rolled up by 12:30p !!!
Great for beginners as well as the more seasoned kids (the older kids got some seriously good competition in most of the weight classes.....that 105 7/8th division was a monster).

Thank you to everyone that donated and for all of those who showed support for Jesse this past week. Jesse had an awesome time hanging out with his teammates and meeting the kids from the other countries. It will definitely be an experience he will never forget.
 
Jesse was disappointed with his showing in freestyle which is his stronger style, but bounced back winning a gold in his weaker style. He worked hard all summer to get his Greco wrestling up to par and it paid off. Maybe this up coming year he can represent Indiana instead of just the US.

Yes Jessie is from Da Region and is a Stud but like Brewer said a great kid who will likely be Indiana's next 4xer and he WILL be staying here I believe.

Jesse's mom posted last night that all the kids on team USA made weight and were looking forward to a full day of wrestling starting this morning. 
She made comment that when the other teams found out that the USA was sending a full team they were able to get their teams filled up rather quickly with the anticipation of wrestling against Team USA.
She did note that there is no live stream, no wifi, no internet links and basically no way to follow......but she will post the results after the day of competition each day. 
Hopefully I or someone else can put some results on here for everyone to follow.
