With a couple weeks left of the IHSAA season, we are gearing up for the offseason. Linked below is the 2024 Indiana National Team - Regional Training Center Application. If you are looking to be a host site, please read and apply. Good Luck to all these next two weekends! 

2024 INT-RTC

Gunnar Larson was a 4x State Qualifer and a 3x Placer for Avon from 2014-2017. He just graduated from West Point this past weekend and wanted to come run a practice. He had a career record of 154-14 while at Avon and wrestled for 4 years at Army West Point. He comes with an incredible amount of knowledge. Do not miss out on a great night! 

RTC tonight will be from 6:00-7:30 enter door 31

Asa Garcia will be the Guest Clinician at avon's RTC Monday 5/10. Asa is a 4x placer and 3x State champ with a career record of 162-12. As a Redshirt Freshman Asa posted a record of 20-6 and this past year saw time in the varsity line-up for the Hoosiers. He has a great practice planned for everyone Monday! Don't miss out as we train towards Central Regionals! 

Tomorrow Avon will host RTC from 6-7:30 Carson Brewer will be our guest clinician. Carson is currently the Varsity 184 pounder at Ohio University. 2019 State Champ with a career high school record of 116-7. Come get an awesome workout in before State this weekend! 

RTC tonight will be at Mooresville. CIA Coach Chad Ulmer will be the Guest Clinician. He is a Team Indiana National Team Coach and as coached Multiple State Placers and All-Americans. Coach Ulmer was a State Qualifier in 2008. He had a career record of 132-34 at Triton High School. He continued to wrestle at Manchester University and is now apart of a great staff at CIA. 

With only 2 weeks away from freestyle and greco state, come get some great coaching tonight! 

We have had 25+ kids in the room at the RTC including kids from Avon, Mooresville, Center Grove, Terre Haute North. Come get some Freestyle/Greco in tonight!! 

We will have a Guest Clinician next week at Avon.

We will begin working on the Freestyle and Greco techniques and have a rules discussion for newer freestyle/greco wrestlers. A New season begins tonight! 

Tonight Avon/Mooresville RTC will move to Center Grove Wrestling Club due to issues with scheduling. I want to thank Coach Swain and Center Grove for hosting.

Center Grove Wrestling Club is at a new location.

We had over 30+ kids at the RTC last week and adding Center grove kids will make it a great room! Come out and scrap with some of the best in the state before this big weekend!

I forgot to put the times. We start at avon high school in the wrestling room at 6:00 - 7:30pm. Lets get a great group of guys to learn and clean up some things before state weekend! 

Coach Jordan is a 4x NCAA All-American, 2016 NCAA Finalist and a 2x Big Ten Champ. His wrestling career at the University of Wisconsin was a great one with a career record of 115-17. Come out to Avon Tonight tonight and get better before a big weekend coming up!!!

Cornelious was a 2x placer and a 4 year Varsity letter winner. Went to St. Cloud St. that are D2 National Champs He was also a FloNats All-American 

Cody was a 3x Finalist and a 2x Champ in high school with only 2 losses on the resume. He was also a Fargo Finalist!! 

Come on out and get better tonight!!

The Orioles would like to welcome Head Wrestling Coach of Marian University. Coach Bradley is an Indiana Great. He was a 4x Placer with 3 titles. He was a 5x freestyle and greco all-american with a freestyle National Title. Come out and learn from one of greatest in Indiana history.

Avon RTC starts tomorrow 6:00-7:30. 

Coach Brian Smiley will be running the RTC at Avon tomorrow. Coach Smiley was a Indiana State Champ in '97 and a 2x Placer. He was a 2x Fargo All-American and wrestled collegiality for hoosiers of Indiana University. Coach Smiley just finished his first year as the Head Coach of Plainfield High school. Coach Smiley brings a  wealth of knowledge and toughness to the Avon RTC.

Who Coaches these teams? I've been a couple time but I don't remember who was coaching the Indiana teams or why they were chosen??
