  1. Link to Ky State Wrestling intros and finals video: http://khsaa.org/2014-state-wrestling-opening-ceremonies-and-final-round/
  2. I know he could not have been happy about it and I have heard Friday night's FF was a true inj. FF, but why did McCormick forfeit Sat. vs. Micic in the a.m. and look good in the consolation round? Anyone?
  3. I bet he goes down to 152 next year since Kelley will be GONE along with a State title!
  4. If you are a wrestler, win your semi-state and everything else takes care of itself. Competition within regions (just like within schools and families) usually spawns state champions.
  5. March 2011 Schoolboy Finals (i.e. same trend....future success and crazy weight fluctuations!) 6. Most fun topic/thread I've read on Indiana Mat yet! This should be done every year!
  7. Looks like seeding is fair (at least in 90, 95, 102 and 110 classes). Looks like they seeded the top 8 and separated them from each other at kleast for the first two matches.
  8. State Champ prediction out of Evv: 106 (Konrath or Egli) 113 (Ferguson or Smith) 126 (Lee) 150 (Kelley)
  9. It would be a pity of they were on the same side of the bracket at State. How does that work, btw?
  10. Dilbeck avenged a SS loss by pin in 2013 with a win by pin in 2014 regional. He is the real deal (coached by Blake Maurer & Matt Coughlin).
  11. Let's get real. My predictions according to (and in order of) current Panko individial rankings: 106 (3): Konrath, Bailey, Eglo 113 (4): Smith, Crary, Ferguson, Pepple 120 (2): Red, LaHue 126 (2): Micic, Lee 132 (2): Wilson, James 138 (3): Hughes, Lykins, Cash 145 (2): LeCount, Forte 152 (3): Kelley, Macri, Carroll 160 (2): Corsaro, Hughes 170 (4): McCloskey, Rickenbaugh, Stevenson, Osborn 182 (1): Rypel (I had to have one of these) 195 (3): Johnson, Kral, Woods 220 (3): Robinson, Miller, Tolley 285 (1): Bernard (yep, one more time) What say you?
  12. Farmer CA and Smith Cen did not meet at 145 this year. Should be a great match.
  13. 106-Konrath Egli Dillbeck Nawl 113-Ferguson Luiggs Horty Pellacer 120-Johnson Brown Arney Burke 126-Lee Bethel Willis Hemmings 132-Todrank Jourdan Davis Ramsey 138-Schnell Seng Petrig Allen 145-Pierre Karges Farmer Williams 152-Kelley Weinzapfel Riegel Wilson 160-Forzely Kemper Jeffres Stotlar 170-Rickenbaugh Lockyear Kempf Shaw 182-Konerding Bassemier Dowell Huelsing 195-Brown Roberts Newton Jefferson 220-Barnes Klem Kyles Lytle 285-Cox Baker Miller Shaw
  14. Thanks. Thought sectionals worked that way as well but I guess since more than 8 in a bracket wrestle backs have to be done...
  15. Someone help me out here: Regionals: 8 wrestlers in each weight class. If you win your first match are you guaranteed Semi-State or are their wrestle backs to determing 3rd/4th?
  16. Thanks. Errrr....I like the college rule better.
  17. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Saw a lot of inconstency today at the Castle Sectional. Offensive wrestler two-feet in and opponent body out seemed to be called both ways (take down or out of bounds). Could have made a difference in a few tight matches.....
  18. 120 is loaded. SQ from 2013 ranked 5th (i.e. picked not to return to State)!
