Hopefully when Andrew reads this thread he will comprehend it for what it was, a post about more Granbys being run in one match, than most folks had seen before. That isn't "making fun." It's an observation.

No, because it's more than one kid on more than one team, in multiple sectionals. Just seemed interesting for a good kid not to show up in a bracket.

Thank you XCard. Is there ever a reason to withhold a guaranteed 1 seed? Also, are the team rosters, which are on Track, the official rosters the ADs submitted?

When a coach does not submit a wrestler for seeding, but the wrestler is deserving of a high seed, what happens when that wrestler is added later? What's the advantage to not putting a seeded wrestler on your original Sectional roster?

There are kids, with today's scheduling, who enter Semi-States with 50+ matches, not including Team State. 52 + 4 @ SS + 4 @ State + 4 or 5 at Team State = 65 ...# of matches still possible...

For HS wrestlers who want to continue competing now and through the summer...what are some of the more well attended tournaments within a few hours drive of Indiana? We attend some Indiana tournaments, but they often only offer a match or two. Lots of time and expense (hotel, gas, food, etc) for only a couple matches. Does Illinois or Michigan have much going on this time of year? Thank you.

So...has this topic determined that only one sectional in the whole state, seeded according to the IHSAA rules and their tutorial!?!? Is this a new tutorial and rules, regarding the head to heads against the field? It seems this had nothing to do with the new SS advancement criteria. So how many years has everybody been seeding wrong? (according to the IHSAA rules) I think most people reading this thread would put their trust in Y2,Coach Peck and other veteran coaches knowledge, but now that's being proven wrong, IF Scholar is correct. So...did this one coach, who Scholar said was the only one who knew the rules, invite Commissioner Faulkens because he knew the tutorial was against all history and conventional wisdom, and he wanted to make sure it was followed?? It sounds like the Laf Jeff kid is the only one who this may affect negatively, so it prob wasn't his coach.
