I was going to say the same thing when I read that comment. Wrestling in the finals in Tulsa, Iowa, NC, etc since he was 5-6 years old has prepared him just fine for the pressure of the IN State finals. If anyone beats him, it will not be due to the lack of state experience.

Well now it makes sense. If the dual was scheduled after the fact to get another meet in, I can understand it being cancelled. If it was already scheduled though, it would make no sense to cancel it.

Why would Scecina penalize their wrestlers and the other Roncalli wrestlers and drop a meet on behalf of one wrestler. That makes no sense at all. Scecina was not involved in the situation and had no business intervening. That cannot be true. I am sure the Roncalli coaches or the IHSAA could have held him out on their own for sectionals if that was the determined outcome regardless of whether or not this meet took place.

Have Lee and Pepple wrestled this year? I thought they were going to but never saw a result.

I think Sinkovics beat Red in 6th grade and that may have been one of the last times Red has lost in the state. I have him coming out on top too but anything could happen.

There's that "got caught" cliche... Actually the score was 10-6 before McClurg was put in the cradle. The score would have been 10-9 after the nearfall if the pin didn't occur and there was still a whole period left to determine the outcome by score. Sour grapes... Props to McClurg on his win over Kreich. It is not necessary to take away from a nice win of another wrestler though in the same breath.

McClurg is not still undefeated as he got pinned first round by freshman Blake Rypel.

It looked like they butted heads and Corsaro went down. He ended up being taken to the hospital.
