Similar process to this year. But Nick gets an automatic spot at Final X if he medals this year at Worlds (instead of Yianni getting that advantage the way he did this year from his 2022 silver medal).
 
The other major point of interest is that Top 5 at any given weight at Worlds this year qualifies the US for one of the coveted 16 Olympic spots for that weight next year. Especially at the ultra-deep 65kg weight where we only got a spot in 2016 because of someone else's failed drug test and didnt qualify in 2021, there's some pressure for Nick to get the US a result this fall and to avoid tricky olympic qualifier tournaments.

Wow that is some major pressure! Nick is definitely rolling right now, hopefully he stays healthy and continues to win!

In related news, Sarah Hildebrandt and Kayla Miracle both swept 2 matches and earned World Team spots on the Women's Freestyle team.  

Hildebrandt, in her 4th Final X appearance has yet to give up a single point in any of them. She won 8-0 and 11-0 today.  She has outscored opponents 64-0 in 8 total matches.

I don't disagree but I do believe Nick has a chance. I think that Nick has clearly gotten better. McKenna used to be his nemesis - one hurdle overcome. Yiannni is just the next obstacle he needs to conquer. Won't be easy but nothing worth while is.
 
Mason does have a monumental task in front of him. The one thing I will say is that I don't believe Gable is merely far ahead of the US field but rather the world field. If it wasn't for Gable, Mason would have an excellent chance at a world medal.

This is the 21st century.  How can coaches be so ignorant concerning health and wellness of athletes.  Hydration is key to an athletes performance.  This really gives wrestling a bad name. Why isn't this Manslaugter?

As much as I would love to see Mason Parris wrestle on the world stage, I am very glad to see Steveson has decided to continue his wrestling career. It would be a shame to see someone with his special talent waste it. I know that the money of the WWE is real & something that many people just can't afford to pass on. But that career & money will still be there for him in 3-5 years or whenever he decides it's time. But as an international wrestler, he has a chance to do something very special. And IMO it would be a waste to see him throw that away for the WWE.

Nick just keeps getting better, I think his limit is his body, obviously his mind is in the right place hopefully his body can keep up! 

This guy has a grasp of the rules .  The things you mentioned are the reason I prefer the international styles.  Can't stall.  You get rewarded for execution.  It makes for more exciting wrestling from the lay persons standpoint.  If they added overtime it would be nearly perfect.

Some things to think about when watching freestyle to help with understanding the scoring. The scoring is set up to reward the wrestling creating action. That's why sometimes even when the defending wrestler rolls someone through, unless they stop the momentum or change the direction of the momentum, the attacking wrestler will get the 2 or 4. Also, control is completely irrelevant in freestyle, exposure is all that matters. If you initated the move that caused exposure, you get points. Also, if a move starts inbounds, you can finish it out of bounds for the full points. Also, criteria is again set up to reward the wrestler that took the biggest risk or initated the most action in the match. Thats why highest point move and cautions are 1 and 2 on the list. Hopefully this helps with the frustration and makes it more understandable when you see it.

Here you go.  It's more of a takeout place.  Damn tasty sandwich.  As someone else said, do not go to Pizza King for the pizza.  

Here is why your argument is dumb.  There are lots of types of great pizza and all can be enjoyed.  Hell, I could eat pizza every day, I'd just vary where I get it and what type.  So, if you are in the mood for something different, then Turoni's on Main Street will not disappoint unless you go in thinking you are getting Edwardo's Stuffed.  Turoni's is much closer to Tavern Style.  Life can be excellent when you can enjoy several types of pizza.  Live a little!

That said, I won't argue with your Chicago assessment, but I have never had Edwardo's directly.  Have had several others (Lou M., Due, Uno, Giordano's, Geno's East (my least favorite), and another one or 2 I can't remember). But all the way down here in Hoover Alabama, there is a small pizza place called Tortugas.  The owner's met working at an Edwardo's and the pizza is very similar I'm told.  It is the only place outside of Chicago that I have had true Chicago style pizza.  Others are all imitators!
