You mean a 2-1 loss at 2013 IHPO and 8-6 loss at semi-state are not touching McCloskey?
or the beat down at the spartan classic...yes, all three...so is McCloskey in sliga's class since he was 3-0 against Rypel?
-
thanks for the info to back up my claim and prove that it wasnt "a joke" as Y2 claimed lol.
The only thing Y2 said that isnt a joke is that both are great and both deserve to be talked about.
Sliga is Sliga though and nobody else is close...fact!
Rypel is great but couldnt even touch McCloskey and Im pretty sure McCloskey hasnt been talked about being in Sliga's class.
my my my how some people seem to forget in just a short couple years.
-
love to watch rypel and the kid is a very hard worker. but, its not even close. not a knock on him, i just dont see anyone in sliga's class that is out there now or since his junior year.

Did Indiana Elite just choose not to wrestleback for 5th or am I missing something?
Indiana Elite did so well there has been more sponsirship money to enter the team into another event.
-
Indiana elite dominates today going 4-0. Scores were 56-6, 74-0, 57-9, 69-3. Don't wrestle until 6pm tomorrow.

-

Id rather you guys just pick a better name....let us rememeber the team name Rant lol...but that is just a personal pet peeve
nobody else wanted the bigmaks lol
-
Looks like there is going to be some fireworks on this lame Thursday (yay for no boredom!).....I just hope at some point the two Indiana Elite Teams can battle each other to determine who is the Elitest of the Elite
Fabs, I doubt the fireworks. That guy harasses me on every thread then runs with his tail between his legs. He is a clown that never responds to private messages or shows when I tell him exactly where and when to find me. Therefore, I'm done dealing with him. It's crap or get off the pot and he just loves to sit there behind his monitor. No more time wasted on him.
You do have a good point tho. What is the other elite roster and let's match them up and see if there are any head to head wins.
-
Let's take this to the cage tuff guy, remember you can't bite in the cage.
That was my standing offer a long time ago.
-
That is an inspirational story. Will there be a movie or book made about Austin's inspirational career on the mat?
Will you come out with a book on how ridiculous one can be? Get over yourself guy. I for one am very proud of my sons career and what he accomplished in a season he wasn't supposed to even wrestle due to surgery from a football injury, on top of all the other obstacles he faced.
Now, you going to show your support to team Indiana elite with a donation or buy a shirt or just harass as usual?
-
Thats what I was thinking . I don't know if I've ever seen an Indiana team this strong .
i know i havent...glad to be a supporter and part of it, even if its in a small way
i cant wait.

Chalfant pinned in consol semi by McMullen from Northwestern, will wrestle for 5th.
what happened? 18 seconds? i missed it, did he trip again?
-
;D
haha, congrats man
-
i totally agree with you Ruberg was a good wrestler. i was lucky to watch him at the new castle semi state and it was a delight.
Ruberg might have even been up on Covaciu in the match when he made a freshman mistake. He let up on defense for a split second and got caught and cradled. Learning experience but it will make him better. Had he won that match, who knows, we could have been talking about the freshman state champ that came out of nowhere right now.
-
I'm a believer in this freshman phenom now. He was unranked all year, even in semi state, until towards the end of the season when his unblemished record couldnt go unnoticed any longer. at sectionals and regionals. I would like to point out that not only did this kid only have 2 losses all year and break 40 wins, his two losses were 1 point loss to STATE CHAMP TOMMY CASH at semi-state and his other loss was opening round to STATE RUNNER UP JACOB COVACIU. Honestly, he was probably tommys toughest opponent through the whole state series when you look at the other scores. Keep this kid on the radar.
Rypel vs Sliga
in Past Discussions
Posted
No doubt...and I predict a multi time NCAA all american
BUT...he went 3-0 against rypel and if rypel is soooooo in sliga's class that anything other than that opinion is totally ignorance or bias, then mccloskey must be better than Sliga right?
