Who drew Lutz Princeton at 132. He too isn't seeded, but could very easily win this weight. Or is he out for this tournament. What were the criteria used for this tournament? Can someone post them!

Actually Moises didn't wrestle any of the guys. Sorry thought he did this past Saturday, but he didn't.

I could not agree more. Something needs to change. A lot of the weight classes worked out fine. Hvy weight for instance. Moises never wrestled #1 or #3 but beat #4. He had a 1-0 record and was seeded 2nd. Which more than likely is a correct seeded weight class and makes sense. Then 126 is all out of wack. The way things look here you could be a 3 time state champ. Wrestled one weight class and was injured early in the year. You came back and wrestled another weight class but isn't seeded due to criteria or common sense. Kind of funny and not funny at the same time!! Criteria's are agrued one way when its in your teams best interest, but another way when its not. I do know why a lot of the teams haven't wrestled each other in awhile. Changes need to happen for sure or you will keep running into the same problem.

Winter Bulletin 63 paragragh B line 5 "5. Coaches should strive to keep open minds when seedings are being decided. The main objective of seeding is to have outstanding wrestlers separated in the brackets so that they will not meet each other until the finals. Seeding shall be based upon the wrestler's proven ability and not upon the desire for unwarranted advantage." Wow is all I can say about how this tournament seeding came out. 126 Hemmings lost to Schitter. 132 Boger pinned by Sanders, 152 Kerstiens winning record, 160 Collon winning record versus 2 and 3 seeds losing records.. I know in the end you have to wrestle and win to be the champ. No doubt about it, but come on seeding the best kids did not happen here.

wrestleman, I forgot about those match ups. There is going to be a lot of tough matches showcased this weekend at Jasper. I wish I had everyones line up so I could post some more matches. The ones I posted were just off the top of my head. I know I missed a few others. Songer vs Bassmeir (MD).

Jasper is hosting: Mater Dei, Bloomington South, Jeffersonville, Castle and Greencastle Should be some great wrestling and great Match ups. Schitter and Jourdan (MD), Broukel (BS) if these guys are for sure at these weights. Jourdan vs Broukel! Not sure where Schnell (Castle) is wrestling but could see him and Brescher at 145. Brescher vs Pierre (MD). Kerstiens vs Forzo (MD) sorry on some of the spellings not sure if they are spelled correctly.

Jasper has a gym right across the hall that has 4 basketball courts in it that could be used for warmups. Not sure if they would be interested, but they could accommidate all the needs for this venue with their new gym.

I think the AD told me a few weeks ago that the Jasper Gym could fit 4 mats with on set of bleachers pulled in or 3 mats length wise with a smaller bleacher section pulled in.

Jaspers gym will be done by May! Jasper is the most centrally located school out of them all and should have the capability to host this tournament. I think the seating is set up for 6000 if my memory serves me correctly.

Eckert from Jasper is out. Tore his calf 2 weeks ago and couldn't recover by sectionals. Glad he is only a freshman. We are preparing for spring wrestling and Disney Duals. Sorry for the late announcement, We were hoping he could wrestle, but still has trouble just walking.
