Not bad. But I know Luster from FC will not be at 106, 113 if he can make that. Also McKinney is staying at 132, just bumped up for comp against Cash. But not too shabby. I forgot about Bocock at 120, good pick.

I have Hipple and VanCamp on there. If I took top 6 all of those guys or at least most would be on there. I have Stansberry at #5 and if Anderson does make 106 I will have him at #1.

JCHAS, just for fun....lets bookmark these rankings and see how close I end up. "Light blue colored glasses", perhaps I do but that's for a good reason, Perry has had a lot of talent and success throughout the years. I believe last year Zach had 11 Falcons making it to State thru his rankings and we took 8. Not that far off considering our 152 and 160 lost in ticket round and were the favorites by most polls to win those matches. The boards been kind of dead a little so I'm glad we're getting a little banter going!!!!

How did I disrespect Chastain? Because I put him behind James? McKinney gave James a good match which put him #2 for now. If that's being disrespectful then I think maybe you get your feelings hurt too easy. Yes, I believe if the weights stay the same, Perry could get 10 out. If not, WE can always hope!

You must be his father or parent. I heard he was having trouble making 106 and I don't see him cracking top 4 at 113. If he does go 106 I would definitely say 1 or 2 spot!

I thought Perry looked strong from top to bottom. Very impressed w Brett Johnson, he seems to get stronger as the match goes on! Freshman Noah Warren did not disappoint in his debut, all falls I believe. Uk downing #7 McGee, another senior waiting his turn after being behind James and Cottey in past years. TONTE picked up where he left off last year. Johnson Korvah, very solid program kid.

Staying with the Forrest theme..Cottey vs Forrest Friday night was a barn burner. Great scrambles by both and neither one quit until the buzzer sounded. Could have gone either way, just a shame it was Friday night and they were both seniors.

Indyt, I received an email from Robert Faulkens ref the many questions ref this. He basically said that coaches should make sure they have their weigh-in sheets and alpha weight management in order if another coach challenges a wrestler dropping weight class. He wasn't really clear but what I got was that if wrestler "A" wrestled 132 all year and then dropped to 126 and then went back up, the wrestler would have to abide by the 1.5% in getting back down for each week between weigh-ins. So it could cause some problems for wrestlers dropping down the last few weeks when it comes to wrestling a certain weight for sectionals. If no one fights it nothing would be done but if someone does then there may be some upset coaches and wrestlers.

I have an opinion on this topic.......WHO CARES!! Is there a special award they give out now for the top Semi-State? I get a kick out of those that argue over such silly topics. But, it is entertainment so who am I to complain...carry on gentleman.
