  1. That was an injury default loss that he was winning before he got hurt so it's understandable.
  2. Nick Crume and Cody Phillips first round... Not sure how I feel about this.
  3. Let's not forget Schuyler Phillips beat James 4-0 and could also be a good finals opponent for Jarred Brooks. And Forrest Glogouski is starting to peak at a great time. Still, I can't see Jarred losing.
  4. This comment is going to get so much ridicule, but I completely agree. Making a transition from 103 to 126 is tough.
  5. Wait, Knura lost to Bass? I can't believe I missed that until just now. I agree that it may be the most unpredictable.
  6. Everyone knew that Merrillville would have a tough 220, and throwing Knura in there, people assumed those would be probably the top 5 at state. But after watching Biberstone today, he was completely solid and unchallenged the entire day. Do you think he will be in any contention for the title?
  7. I was trying to find out what was going on there. There were a lot of boos on that one.
  8. He has a 66% chance of drawing Ayersman or Crume. Yikes.
  9. Sam Lovejoy pins Matt Frane! Any others?
  10. 1. Ticket Round 2. State championships 3. State semi-finals 4. Friday night at state 5. Ticket round of sectionals(Not as exciting, but it's fun to see who starts their post-season/career off by making it to regionals)
  11. I still think the worst one is Ntende and Bradley. Both could have been on the podium this year.
  12. Lovejoy over Frane? Honestly, I kind of want to see that happen.
  13. The score was 3-2, but Forrest did even better than the score showed. He got a takedown within the first 20 seconds of the first period. And Frane is the real deal too!
  14. I'll nominate Forrest Glogouski. Beat #4 Matt Frane at regionals and has only one loss which was to Brandon James. I'm going out on a limb and saying he'll place top 6 while ranked #16.
  15. Didn't he lose by like 6 or 7? Seemed convincing enough to me. Anything can happen though.
  16. I understand 182 and maybe heavyweight, but what's wrong with 195 and 220?
  17. Agreed. I thought he was the favorite over Crume anyway?
  18. Is Isaiah Bradley considered a dark horse? Because has crossed my mind as state champion here. Undefeated and placed 5th at the weight class with the toughest top 4 last year.
  19. It would have been better for him to be the runner-up at regionals.
  20. 106 - Micic and Boston 120 - Todd and Campbell rematch, missed the 1st one. 126 - Crume and Ayersman rematch, Crume really started kicking it late in the match. If he wrestles all 6 like he did in the last 2 and a half or so, he could pull it off. 132 - McKinley and Molloy rematch, another one I missed 138 - Jackson and Macri, I personally think Macri will be a champ before he graduates. What better way to set the bar than by being under the lights sophomore year? 145 - Tsirtsis and Faroute, obvious winner here, but I think Faroute will give the best fight. 170 - Willis and Mappes 182 - Hurford and Lynde, I think Hurford has more of a chance than he's been given. 195 - Berry and Sliga 220 - Robinson and Knura
  21. True, the top 4 are all undefeated if I am correct. But I think it's pretty much between Micic and Boston.
  22. Devon Jackson. Can't see him getting beaten at 138. Would love to see Tristan Macri pull off that huge upset though.
  23. With state coming up and a bunch of people giving insight on who they think the champions are, who are the ones you are most confident with? 1. Jason Tsirtsis 2. Devon Jackson 3. Jarred Brooks On the flipside, which weights do you think will be the most unpredictable? 1. 126 2. 120 3. 220
  24. Like others said, sarcasm. He is one of only 3 locks that I have, and obviously the main one. If Faroute could pull it off though... Wow.
  25. 106 - Stevan Micic, Zack Davis, Michael Garza, Kayla Miracle 113 - Jarred Brooks, Adam Brodie, Darden Shurg, Jack Davison 120 - Paul Petrov, Jacob Davis, Josh Fuqua, Blake Denton 126 - Kyle Ayersman, Grant Martsolf, Dalton Overmyer, Julian Torres 132 - Anthony McHugh, Tommy Forte, Cody Alderman, Alex Mavros 138 - Tristan Macri, Mitch Hartman, Alex Griffin, Danny Roach 145 - Jason Tsirtsis, Charlie Mavros, Alex Katsafaros, Aaron Madison 152 - Adrian Brown, Chris Katsafaros, Kenny Hughes, Danny Ginter 160 - Robert Stevenson, Scottie Sopko, Dusty Shurg, Graham Redeik 170 - Jeremy Crocker, Darrly Peppers, Tony Rodriguez, Ethan Dale 182 - Matt Hurford(That's right, I'm going with a huge upset), Dominic Fimbianti, Tanner Lynde, Christian Winkle 195 - Kourtney Berry, Alex Skipper, Jaylin Allen, Matt Langbehn 220 - Gelan Robinson, Joe Gallegos, Tyler Kral, Michael Nickson 285 - Abraham Hall, Kade Maggart, Marcus Dozier, Dimetri Kaplanis
