  1. Mike will be missed. He was always helpful when it came to the Normonco wrestling club whenever we had a question those first few years. He has helped make the ISWA one of the best wrestling associations in the country. You will be missed Mike.
  2. 04 Olympic trials 55 kg Greco finals match number 3 for the ticket to Athens. Dennis Hall over Brandon Paulson.4-3. 16 minute 54 sec. match. It had everything 3 point front head lock, escape, and the most exciting over time. It still gives me goose bumps watching it still today.
  3. The North Montgomery team realtree camo singlets are sic. I love them. Also as much as I hate to say it, Southmont's white with red pinstripes look good too.
  4. My vote for championship intros is go to the pyro laser light show. Just like the wwe. That would be awesome. Or maybe Mr buffer with his trade mark let's get ready to rummmmbbblllleeee!!!!! I'm getting goose bumps thinking about it lol.
  5. I met Jared when he was in 5th grade at Iswa folkstyle state finals. He hung around and warmed up with my son that weekend. My son was nervous and before I knew it Jared had him laughing and having a good time and relaxed. My first impression was he is a fun loving kid off the mat and once he steps foot on the mat and the ankle bands go on that the switch gets flipped and it's business time. I've loved watching this kid grow up and excel and enjoy life. Congrats Jared you earned your reward and I couldn't be happier for you. I hope you have continued success in what ever you do. Just remember life is too short enjoy every second of it.
  6. By far and away the Petrov- Campbell match was a phenomenal match. Some of the best scrambles I've seen in a high school match ever. I had to drag my girlfriend to the finals, she is not a fan of wrestling and doesn't understand my love of the sport. However she was standing and cheering, whooping and hollering during and after that match. I might have turned the corner with her she now understands why I love wrestling thanks too those two young men and there performance. Thank you guys.
  7. That was a classy move by Andy Cline to do. I was running the clock on that mat. I was really glad to see Andy didn't go after the kid as aggressive as he usually would in a match.
  8. Yes Chris Shoaf stepped down as the wrestling coach at Fountain Central. They do have a new coach but I am not sure who it is.
