  1. Jordin Humphrey will be teaching a FREE technique session for all wrestlers who attend the IndianaMat.com Hoosier Preseason Open Tournament at Carrol High School in Fort Wayne on September 8th! This tournament will be a great opportunity to get some competition in before the high school season begins. The session will run from 8-8:30 that morning.
  2. I'm excited for my upcoming fight with Midwest Fight Series on July 19th. I have had a great opportunity to work with some of the best in the business while training at SPARTA and I am eager to show off my knockout combos in the cage. Come join me for a great night at Eight Second Saloon. -Jordin Humphrey

  5. Jordin Humphrey will be the featured clinician at the LN RTC Thursday, April 26th. The top 4 wrestlers on the night will receive free admission to the Humphrey Wrestling State Champ Camp this Saturday and Sunday at LN.
  6. It is great to see the top teams split up at this years Team State! I always felt like the finals were a let down when the top two teams already squared off. I know from the days when we won back to back State Championships at Lawrence North we had some amazingly close duals with Mater Dei and Portage but then won in the finals by over 30 points. Believe me it was great to win the State Championships like that but last year when I watched as a spectator instead of a coach on the sideline, I know it was less exciting. This year should have unbelievable semis and finals duals. The top two teams will definitely go head to head for it all in the end! Good luck to all the teams! Jordin Humphrey
  7. Jordin Humphrey will be conducting a free technique clinic 30 minutes prior to the start of this weekend's HSE Beginners Tournament. Jordin ran a clinic at Carmel's Beginners Tournament last weekend. Over 60 wrestlers watched Coach Humphrey demonstrate his chain wrestling drills. Come out and see his world class technique for free this Sunday!

  9. It should be a great dual with great matchups in Cathedral's favor. Cathedral could (note I said could not should) win 8 matches but still lose the dual. In the end I pick Perry to win it because of pins. Perry doesn't have any holes and I think they will pin at some weights which will be the difference in the match. I spoke with Tonte yesterday and we went through the lineup so it will be interesting to see if our predictions come true. Good luck to both teams. Jordin Humphrey
  10. There are going to be some great dual meets as these teams square off at Regionals in a couple weeks. Can't wait!
  11. Great job by Cathedral. It was my first time seeing them all year and they are very tough from top to bottom. HSE looked flat all day and to be honest I didn't think they would win against Cathedral after I watched their first dual meet. The Greenfield Central match definitely surprised me. I knew GC was good but they wrestled their hearts out and pulled out the victory. On an individual note - Harvey looked very good. Great motion on his feet. I am looking forward to a lot of the rematches to see which wrestlers put in the work over the next 4 weeks to turn a loss into a victory. Thursday is Perry Meridian vs. Cathedral. It should be a great dual with great matchups in Cathedral's favor. In the end though I pick Perry to win it because of pins. Perry doesn't have any holes and I think they will pin at some weights which will be the difference in the match. I spoke with Tonte yesterday and we went through the lineup so it will be interesting to see if our predictions come true. Good luck to both teams.
  12. All we know right now is we are all looking forward to these two teams competing. There will be a handful of highly ranked matches that should pave the way for state runs. And this is only the first time these teams and individuals will butt heads. The true test will be how each wrestler adjusts and improves before they meet again in the post season. Good luck to both teams. It will be a great dual! Jordin Humphrey
  13. Great tournament with some impressive individuals that we will see at the State tournament. HSE dominates as a team with 9 in the finals, 5 champs and over 100 team points ahead of the second place team. Jordin Humphrey
  14. I have wrestled a lot with McKinley and I have to give him the nod over Molloy. Last year Molloy was one of the most impressive wrestlers in the whole state tournament and I think they are both skilled enough to win consecutive titles but I just think Jared will be too strong for Neal. Jared just has a quality about him where I don't think he will lose in crunch time. We all saw him dominate last year, not because he was that much better than everyone else but because he wasn't going to hold anything back. The winner will be the guy who is most mentally prepared for this match at state. Good luck to both guys and I can't wait to watch this one. Jordin Humphrey
  15. Final score HSE 47 - Fishers 17. Good dual meet by both teams. It will be fun to watch how the individuals improve over the next 3 weeks before Sectionals. Big showdown this weekend for HSE against Cathedral. Jordin Humphrey
