Dan Pleak vs James Brimm. Happe Ev Central vs Macdonald Ev MD, Happe had to defeat him in sectionals, regionals, semi-state, and under the lights at state! That has to be unprecedented!

I was on the record saying Purdy was in a tough spot being in that weight class. A couple weeks ago I played basketball with Purdy and was beyond impressed with his athleticism. He’s not much of a basketball player, but an elite athlete and I mean elite, and after that I thought man he’s got a real chance to beat Gabe!

Did he carry any other offers? If so from who ? I like to hear who it came down to.

Purdy definitely has a better chance of knocking off Buchanan which is a tall order in itself, but Reff would have to cut or bump up which messes up Castle’s duals.

Brad Burris Evansville Reitz. I believe he was either 3rd or runner-up his Junior year and his family had a falling out with the head coach (so I was told), and he didn’t wrestle his senior year, and his younger brother (Adam) who was also good quit that same year. -

I believe with the Covid year and Jesse projected at 141 for the Buckeyes that should mean that there’s a potential Nick Lee vs Jesse Mendez matchup looming? Frosh Mendez vs. Sr. Lee, does Mendez pull off the upset, keep it close, or does Lee major him ?
