  1. They just need to clarify what a "point of contact" is, instead of making it more complicated than brain surgery.
  2. Until I get an autographed Larry Bird card, Doster is ahead of him.
  3. They are usually really tight lipped on changes. These were all in the survey, which is likely where he got these. While I would love these changes, I would be surprised if they pass all three of those changes in the same year.
  4. That was sarcasm, Pyle is from Virginia and coached there.
  5. Georgia, Arizona, and Virginia love having as many classes as possible. I can't even imagine trying to rank seven classes of wrestling, that would be a disaster.
  6. Iowa definitely in the second tier. Colorado, Nebraska, and Florida are on the back end of tier 2 or the top of tier 3, they aren't consistent enough to be considered in tier 2. We aren't doing the per capita stuff though. Per capita is the way Iowa justifies being relevant.
  7. The top tier(in somewhat order) Pennsylvania Ohio California New Jersey Illinois Second tier(not too much order) Wisconsin Michigan Minnesota Indiana Oklahoma Missouri New York Georgia(sneaking up there) Look at NCAA qualifiers and All-Americans, Junior/16U/14U Duals results, Super 32 results, etc and you'll see most of these states in the mix. The second tier has good runs, then small lulls at times. Recently Indiana has been better than Michigan, but over the course of 10-15 years Michigan is slightly ahead.
  8. That's correct, there is a clear cut separation from the top five or six states and Indiana along with the other second tier states.
  9. Congratulations to Chase Leech Congratulations to from Garrett for signing with Indiana. Projected to wrestle 165, 174. View full signing

  13. If they move the weekend then you also have to try to get venues like the coliseum or Ford Center for a different date. On top of that moving the season to one less week would cause lots of other scheduling issues with 300+ schools. Do you understand what kind of undertaking that would be for the season? Do you think 300+ athletic directors want to fix their wrestling schedules for one off year? Keeping the date and moving the event was the most logical and easiest thing to do with the season.
  14. Good luck with the backlash of moving the girls finals.
  15. They had the girls basketball state finals the week after wrestling.
